"Not a franchise point guard." As a Hawks fan, I can't even hate on you for saying that because I said something similar about De'Andre Hunter. But franchise player or not, there's no denying that Dyson is a future All Defensive 1st Teamer and a very good secondary ball handler, which isn't a bad pick at 8th overall.
If you can get an 8th pick to be a player you know can give you 30-35 mins in the playoffs guarding against the oppositions most threatening scorer (and anyone ranging from 6 ft - 6"9) and isn't gonna get played off the court than that's a great get . He makes great decisions , can finish well and is an underrated passer . Obviously the issue is his 3 point shot but even that has improved and the eye test shows that when he has time and isn't rushed he has a smooth stroke . Plus when you are that athletic than if they leave you alone from 3 he can make you pay in other ways . Atlanta got a good one that's for sure
Can’t be mad at bro, ran into him at Whole Foods last year, nice enough kid, he was just in a bad situation and looked drained. Glad he’s thriving in ATL they have a real coach and a serious owner
Let's face it that's true to what he's saying DM came here played all that time in Atlanta and didn't get hurt much soon as he get here he breaks his hand That's not normal look at the Saints and look at the Pelicans the dome and that arena was built on a graveyard
The problem with the Pels is that Zion and Ingram were injury prone players b4 they got to New Orleans and it’s gotten worse as they both have gotten older in the league which basically means they will have to depend on other players to build the franchise off of
Everybody trying to stir shit up. We’re all happy for Dyson. He’s not trying to step, he’s not even being hateful, he’s just not overly sensitive like yall want to be. Fire Willie. Griffin need to bounce, too.
Dude taliking like he a star or something u are a good defender that’s it humble yourself these players nowadays are so entitled and think they know everything
I never heard Dyson use the word soft though. Obviously him saying fragile is referring to them being injury prone... which they are. It seems like a injury curse. You putting too much sauce on it though to get your own thoughts out. So to answer your question...NO, Dyson isn't wrong. The franchise is fragile(injury prone). But you adding a whole lot extra to it
Dyson needs to act like a pro and concentrate on playing for his new team. Hating on his old team that traded him accomplishes nothing for him. It makes him come across as bitter. He's in a good situation with the Hawks. Just be happy.
Like your boy said: Dyson isn't the first, and he won't be the last. Just wait til Zion and BI leave New Orleans. Also, DJ has shaded each of his former franchises.
@@PelicansScoop1045 Nope I watched it. Maybe its just that I'm an Australian and don't understand the connections you made. Especially with the fragile comment. You are the one drawing these connections where none we inferred by Dysons statements. Please do not mistake this for me disagreeing with any of the issues you raise about the Pels. Its a shit show atm and you probably need a whole new front office to run things competently. My issue is with you twisting Dysons comments to further your agenda (be it right or wrong). This is a shit media trick that is used all the time by the larger media outlets. The pels don't have a true pg to make him better nor a great coach and with ATL this szn he's got Trae and a better coach plus his offense really got better even though he's known for his defense
Was Dyson Daniels wrong with what he said ?
Nope....needs to be said 🏀🇬🇧
that boy dyson spoke the truth !!
Facts from the Aussie
@@PelicansScoop1045 He's only speaking the truth he's saying what he couldn't say when he was on the team because they have those players under thumb
This is my kind of channel 😂
CJ is very professional, he is just not good enough for a 30M+ year contract on a non-luxury tax team
Dyson said it to Tre face can't be mad at Dyson for that.

The team is really not flawed ….it’s injuries. Without the injuries the PELS are a play in team at least
Year 6 of Griff era and the play-in is still the measuring stick. That’s a flawed team
I think he made the joke because of how injured the pels are.
It's pretty obvious that's what he was referring to
You have to admit to Guy is playing much better ball since he been with the Atlanta Hawks

I’m a pelicans fan and I agree with him
Dyson goes out of control and can’t make a layup. Home misses wide open layups
You obviously haven't been watching him this year 😂
The Pels should be the Jazz. Get the name back to the only city that should hold that name and the should would be lifted
Operation Bro, Truth Is The League wants to move the team, both of them, the fans still support both, so they can't at the moment
Dude taliking like he a star or something u are a good defender that’s it humble yourself these players nowadays are so entitled and think they know everything
I knew they was cooked when they decided to name the team the "Pelicans" . Like, what??
Right should have paid the Utah jazz for their name back😮
@kenrobinson1412 man something. Anything would've been better than that
What about New Orleans Blues ?

Where's the lie tho? Pels fans are more concerned w/ sparing feelings vs being honest about the team issues smh

It was a joke...relax
@kbis2cold it wasn't a joke.
I laughed. Because a joke can still be truth. Let's say it wasn't a joke though...you still should relax
The team is fragile it certainly SEEMS, but I don't pay as much attention to them as I'd like.
Cj was hurt most of the season also! Cj soft af too!
Aint nobody defending new Orleans basketball 😂
Are you serious. Dyson was just making jokes. I know the Pels are shit but don’t make it out like that’s what Dyson was saying.
I can obviously tell you didn’t watch this video
