The little confettis coming out from the screen when you reach OG Dave’s interlude is a really nice touch, and also the Rhythm Doctor voicelines during OG Dave’s reprise in Garett’s section is nice too. The pixel art is lovely and fits that early-2000s-video game aesthetic Dave’s Fun Algebra Class wanted to have, it even changes the sprites every once in awhile!. Makes the game feel more alive.

Rhythm Doctor works as follows: Normally, hit space on the seventh beat. X marks on the row indicate a silent beat. If the pulse on the bar shows up as curved, then it's swung. Sometimes a two-beat shot is used, cued with "Get, set, go!" where the time between the beats is the same as the time between "Get" and "set". "Get, set, one!" indicates a single two-beat shot, also known as a oneshot. A red glow indicates 8 beats instead of 7. I believe that's all the mechanics used in this video; I'm currently rewatching it to ensure that it is. Hope this helps!
