I understand completely fighters wanting a quiet life outside of their job/sport but be aware of what comes with that. Which is no handouts. Meaning, you lose a close fight or a fight that you actually won, a rematch probably wont be in your favor.
The judging was so bad tonight I wonder if they were impacted by the altitude too. Sometimes it's hard for me to argue against the idea that judges will score fights in a way that they think the UFC "wants" or just say there's outright fraud going on. I wouldn't be surprised if the judges gifted Pena the win because for the UFC it's much better for Pena vs. Harrison if the goal is to get Harrison the belt then to watch her get pieced up by Pennington. And even with that gift Pena didn't have the sense to call out Harrison, but instead wants to call out Nunes who is retired and has no interest in beating her 50-45, 50-44, and 50-43 again. The one piece of sympathy I have for Dana is fighters on average really are the dumbest professional athletes and will do everything in their power to not promote correctly. In no way do I believe she was trolling. I think she legitimately wants Nunes, which cool for her for wanting the goat, but c'mon some common sense would be nice. Also she basically did admit she lost the fight when she said it was Pennington's fault for letting it go to the judges.

Well what I definitely saw and learned was that Peña is very overrated and I dislike her attitude of her own self. I don’t think her hands are nice she shoots out a 1212121 while ruining forward with her elbows flared out and that’s the amateur skillset that surprised even Amanda the first time they fought. Also Pennington isn’t as good as I’ve seen her get to like she was a couple fights ago, she used to have a specific side to side sway in between combos to set up the rhythm and balance but now she just throws them no recognizable silhouette. Peña sucks I miss the old guard.
