+KopyKatH20 well i would agree but i am 15 and i cant stand the drops but i really enjoy it and the last time i went on the MGM studios one was never i remember being too scared to go on (i was either 4 or 2 so dont judge me)
The beauty of this ride is not the story but instead the lack of a story. Yes there is the twilight zone elevator plot with the lightning but everything else is just up to discretion. It’s up to you to decide what’s going on in the only lit room at the hotel on the top right of the tower, what that figure looking shadow is in the window of the room, or just analyzing every little detail to think what that would have been like if the hotel were still running. That’s what I love about tot and the music is just the cherry on top of it all!
3:11 That Song Intro Never Fails To Give Me Goosebumps,Cuz I Always Heard That Song When I Went To The Tower Of Terror In DCA,Man I miss that ride so much
+Erin Lohnas wow thank you so much! Nice to see a helpful person in the comments! Actually just yesterday I was at California adventure and went on the ride twice. So amazing
Sorry for being late. The first one is called When The Sun Sets Down South by Sidney Bichet and the second one is Duke Ellington’s Pyramid preformed by Johnny Hodges and his orchestra
Tanner Hagen The first two are When the Sun Sets Down South by Sidney Bechet and Pyramid by Johnny Hodges. Having a bit of trouble discerning the last ones.
Love this track. Amazing effect. Really love this attraction but it’s not worth visiting MGM or whatever the hell they are calling this park now just for this ride - even with the new toy story land. Let’s hope the park evolves into something really interesting.
Well, I still love the park. But it's not the same as it used to be. But I will say that the new additions to the park have been pretty cool! I absolutely ADORE Toy Story Land, and even though I am not a Star Wars nut, Galaxy's Edge was really interesting! Of course, the Tower of Terror and The Rock n Rollercoaster are still my favorite attractions there. :)
The piece that begins at 6:00 that people have been trying to identify is a piece called "Exotique A", in case you want to look for it. It was also used in a SpongeBob episode briefly so I was able to find out its name from there. :)
It's like hearing music from another dimension and time
I think that's the point lol
The ride itself doesn't scare me but this music gives me the chills along with the old hotel

+Black Skull the Coyote Cali Adventure one doesn't scare me, but the MGM one does! haha!
I’ve been on the tower of terror in Disneyland and it scared me a little bit the first time but the second time it really but the Disneywolrd one did
Maybe if this were really an abandoned hotel and I go there alone and hear this, it definitely would be eerie.
Same here

So eerie that it is beyond soothing ...
True
m e r m a i d I like the feeling of Erie im used to it
the 3 dislikes are the villains. HOW DARE THEY!!!!!!!!
hahaha I know! :)
It has doubled. I think the first 3 were the hitchhiking ghosts from the Haunted Mansion and the second 3 were haunted by them.
This ride's still in Florida right? It's just being changed in California?
Yes
Thanks, I thought so. I looked at the changes in the Cali one, and wasn't real impressed by it.
well i went to the one in florida not long ago and saw signs that they are changing it to a guardians of the galaxy theme ride instead..
No, the G of the G remake is actually happening at the former universe of energy pavilion at Epcot. I haven’t heard of any plans to remake this (yet)
Yes, the one in Florida is exactly the same with no plans of changing. :) Just rode it the other day and had so much fun!

Haunting like the Shining.
I was just going to say reminds me of the Shining!!
I always get the feeling I got when the cam zoomed into to ending photo...
Gets me every time
"No work and no play make Johnny a dull boy"
Is that last song actually in the loop? I've never herd it before. I love this loop by the way. Love the echo and how far away it sounds. So perfect.
Bioshock anybody?
this is why I don't mind standing in line on this ride, the music and architecture is just amazing.
6:02 it's like ghost ship
Oh gosh, this music is making me nervous just listening to it!
6:02
SHIA - KAZING!
memories
There isn't that much reverb on the original loop
What is the song at 6:02?
I know this comment is super old but I figured I'd respond quick, it's a song called "Exotique A" by Paul Lenart and Bill Novick.
+Erin Lohnas wow thank you so much! Nice to see a helpful person in the comments! Actually just yesterday I was at California adventure and went on the ride twice. So amazing

I don't know the first one offhand, but the one that starts at around 6 minutes is called "Exotique A" by Paul Lenart and Bill Novick
Sorry for being late. The first one is called When The Sun Sets Down South by Sidney Bichet and the second one is Duke Ellington’s Pyramid preformed by Johnny Hodges and his orchestra
This song reminds me of my childhood I don’t know why I’ve heard it on tv somewhere as a kid but I have no idea when or what
