"Unfair advantage" = Working hard and going to Stanford. Yikes. You don't even need to be from a T500 school to get into a Faang. You just need to be able to do well in the interviews.
@ Clearly you aren’t in touch. Since about 2016 it’s become impossible. Harvard Stanford Princeton whatever “Columbia” is and all the others have been rejecting everyone. There is merit based admissions. It’s all legacies donors athletes and others. It is totally unfair that he got Stanford on his resume. It’s not something others can do. People from “Iowa state” CANT compete with this guy. UNFAIR
@ I’m from a T1000 and I’ll tell y’all the resume DOESNT EVEN PASS THE SCREENING. I applied with referrals and it still didn’t pass. This is the state of hiring. You need to be from a T50 to even have a chance.
amazing podcast as always, every time I get a blog email with a new podcast ep, I download it immediately so I can watch on transit! thanks!!

Such a great podcast and very relatable. Currently deciding whether to join big tech or a startup and Rahul's story really resonated with me.
the biggest unfair advantage he had is that he went to Stanford. The rest of us can NEVER get these opportunities. We're stuck at TCS or Infosys.

@@nafis_rk Many valedictorian, including myself don't make it to Stanford or Princeton or Harvard. So it is definitely unfair.
