She only has one comedic personality and says the trolls/ppl online don't bother her when clearly that isn't the case. Not condoning what ppl said following the ghostbusters sequel, though. She can dish out the hate but can't take it when it's directed at her. For example, in this video, she implied Colin had a small penis directly to his face and on live tv, but the whole world comes crashing down when someone online compares her to a gorilla.

***** Because since day 1 she came out like this, arrogant as hell. Even on her audition for SNL she acted like this. She has done nothing to deserve power to act arrogant. People tolerate arrogance from people who've accomplished something and then only to a certain degree. Leslie doesn't even have that so what automatically happens is that arrogance fuels hate. And when Leslie gets hate instead of toning it down she dials it up. This is why there was an all out twitter war, this is why 50% of the people on SNL Reddit's page don't like her, this is why she is not fit for TV or show business and this is why I fucking hate her.

Well, LongueTiedNoLunger -- that's certainly troubling. :/ I'm definitely not advocating being crazy on Twitter. :/ However, I stand by my comment regardless. I think she must've learned a great lesson from having all that online hate/bullying pointed at her; perhaps now that she knows how it feels, it will change her future behavior. I resonate with her point in this piece -- the only person who can hack into me, for real, IS ME. If I'm deeply hurt by things others say/write about me -- the truth is, I must believe that crud, somewhere, deep down. It's all about self worth, really loving myself. I think we're going to see a different side of Leslie b/c I have a suspicion she's learned a thing or two about who she really is as a result of this challenge. ganymedelV4 -- I had no idea. I've never even heard of Leslie til this clip from SNL (I don't watch much TV). Either way, I'm still impressed by this piece. I think she must be learning some hard won life lessons from all that's happened recently. If she's done & said the things you've written about, my guess is there's a lot of hurt & anger inside, & I'm also betting there's a good reason she's pointing it at white people (that includes me). Not an excuse, but a REASON -- mind you, there's a difference. For me, it comes down to having compassion & trying to understand why any African American might feel pissed at white people. If I can understand, it's easier not to take it personally (b/c it's not). I have tons of black friends, & I've heard & seen with my own eyes some of the horrific racist crap they have to deal with on nearly a daily basis, & I can honestly say, if I had to live like that, day in, day out, I'd be hard-pressed not to have a big fat chip on my shoulder, too. Again, I'm not making excuses.....I'm just saying, I think I can understand that type of anger, & IMO, it arises for good reason (self preservation, self respect, feeling wounded, etc.).
