It's ridiculous to ban rather than setting up better recycling facility bcz where do they think those other plastic will end up. Plastic ban will reduce air and water pollution in addition to plastic pollution. The notice period was limited,it will be difficult to find alternative income source in few days but surely they will find it. We should not oppose the ban, rather take responsibility to use as few plastics as possible to make Nagaland greener and cleaner for ourselves and future generations. Goverment may also organise awareness campaigns and educate the masses on harmful impacts of plastic pollution on human health and environment.
