I know how much you were looking forward to this too. The lilo boat push was really getting to me last night when I watched you stream it. I may still buy it in the future to attempt a no kill playthrough but I'm not rushing.
You did it. I'm sold. A sailing/survival game where you TRIM THE SAILS. That's enough. I'd prefer if it was a more realistic sailing model, but trimming is a step in the right direction. I'd prefer if it was better all around... but even believable sailing in an adventure game is good enough.
Well... believable sailing is a bit of a stretch, but I see where you're coming from. It is nice when they start to work these things in. Honestly... the boat if the only good thing about this game besides the art style.

I pre-ordered Windbound on the xbox for my partner and she absolutely loves it. I played 90 minutes and I really enjoyed it too. Oddly neither of us are really that into survival games. Maybe our expectations were a lot lower or the game is more suited for casual gamers like ourselves but we're both very happy with Windbound. My partner likes to pretend that Kara is actually Elsa from Frozen and roleplays her own story lol. 🤣
Excellent! I'm glad someone is enjoying it. I was certain I would love it, but... it's just so flat and empty. But... we are all different, and I am genuinely pleased that there are people who are enjoying it. The poor devs put so much hard work into these things, I hate it when I dislike a game that had so much love put into it.

They have updated and balanced the game an insane amount by now, and its a very fun experience. It still has its flaws but I would highly recommend you go back to it.

Knight's Arcade - my exact sentiment. I still got it. I suspect you may well be right. I’ve got quite a patient and methodical nature and I find some survival games super immersive. I’m the type of player that plays Fallout 4 on survival mode. Play most games on a survival mode if they have one. I like to take my time. So maybe I might enjoy. Reviews certainly are mixed, but everyone complains about the same thing.... We’ll see...

Yeah... I struggled to say nice things about it. The funniest thing during my release-day livestream was... we were pretty much all slamming the game and talking about how awful it was... when someone asked me a question I didn't know the answer to, and a message popped up in the chat saying "One of the devs here: Yes, you can." It was very funny, but everybody got really quiet in the chat all of a sudden. lol. Thank you for your continued support, Wolf. I truly appreciate it.
Will you be doing a review on Ary and the secret of seasons? I too was stoked for windbound. Took vacation for it...... Beat it in one day and have zero desire to play again. Was thinking of picking up ary while I'm on vacation. Haha

I play it on the Switch and the game has crashed sooooo many times. In one of the levels my health and stamina just depleted before my eyes for no apparent reason. I really wanted to like this game too, but it really should not have been released in it’s current state. There’s a lot more work needed on this game to justify the €30 i seem to have wasted. Cheated? No. Let down? Big time.
To be fair, I have now played this through 4 times (that's at least 3 times more than I wanted to), and I have only had one crash so far. But that's on the Xbox One X. Sounds like the Switch version is even worse. Sorry to hear that.

BOTW screwed so many future titles. It’s such a high bar to hit. In the stratosphere high bar. I approached this game with very few expectations. The controls were so bad they were completely unusable. The took no tutorial to a completely new level and did nothing to guide you even in the slightest bit. I could go on and on. I just pray others are smarter than me and use that $30 on literally anything else.
Mediocre story is much, much better that none at all. I didn't claim it had a great story, I'm not really a big Zelda fan... but Windbound is is so thin it wouldn't even keep you dry in the rain. I was really looking forward to this game and it has been a major disappointment.
Botw absolutely had a decent story. But they were the side stories. The characters weren't bad. I really liked the guardians or whatever, wish they weren't just flashbacks though lol. But yeah, the main story is a fucking joke. Hoping botw2 sticks to older Zelda tropes or at least is filled with a real story.
Nah, many games are better than BOTW, i have switch, i play botw, ok this botw is good, but a lot game better than botw, i really sad for the fanboy who always defend BOTW... Any addicted game better than BOTW...botw copy other element from other games, such as assasins creed for the tower, inspired by skyrim and witcher but sucks on story, many2 games better than BOTW...and Cel Shading is not style exclusive, lot of games using Cel Shade style first before BOTW.... Why some people always over defend this game... It's so sad to be a fanboy, thankfully i not a fan boy, i play all games and have all console and handheld...

there's a perk for those, but all the times i activated one, i got nothing from it, so they're pretty useless
@@eidolontyr once you have the dive perk, you'll need to swim over the node and wait for the button prompt to dive. it nets you 500 monies.$$$

Spend your money on Sea of Thieves. Better sail trimming and a storyline that actually wants to make you play the next chapter/story

There is a power up that allows you to go underwater. Thats what the light is for
