  • Perch are starting to grow on me fast, as I continue to chase giant PERCH! Each time I head out I learn a little more about how they re-act to baits and I am finding that they have peak feeding windows where they can go crazy!!

See this is what I'm talking about. It's probably hard for you to notice but you seem more enthusiastic about these perch than the walleyes. not saying your walleye videos aren't good but idk when youre not expecting to have a good day and just kill it, the enthusiasm is really contagious.
I know personally theres not much more of a better feeling than going after a new species and figuring them out. Really makes you feel like a winner.
Edit: could just be my own bias tho, idk just do what you want LOL fish what makes you happy, that's what we all want to see.

Great perch video! Reminds me of a small waterfowl lake in Minnesota that I fished years ago. 2' of ice & only 3' of dirty water below it. We threw back anything under 12". We found that the larger the perch, the softer the bite. My buddy got two 15" perch out of there. 13" & 14" were common...until everybody else found out about it.

    Hi
I am planning to buy Humminbird Helix 7 g3. How do you make setting to display rounds instead bars on round flaher?

What light do you use for the hub to film? I like the puzzle price mat you sit on I have two of those too. Love how giddy you are about being set up so early! How long does it take you to set that stuff up?

setup for me with all the filming stuff is usually 1-2 hours.... I use the otter lights in the shelter big fan of those!

Awesome stuff. Water is open by me but I might get the flasher out and get on the docks and pretend I'm ice fishing. Any experience with flip over shelters? I'm a little more ADHD than you and I cant imagine setting up my spot 2 hours before I catch a fish!

Hey I'm curious on your settings on your helix. I have the same setup and I love the way your flasher reads. My graph reads awesome but I can't get my flasher style to read like yours. Any tips??
