This channel is a gem for so many reasons. Brian’s firearms knowledge and unvarnished insights are a rarity. As a New Englander, I really enjoy watching western cultural gun values playing out in real time. And on a personal level it’s just great watching a family’s love of shooting and hunting continue through generations- including children usually present in the immediate background. Such a refreshing change from the pedantic lecturing of the medical establishment urging to keep firearms out of sight of kids, locked up, and the ammo hidden separately!
I like you all, guys. Variety and union between the brothers is the most fantastic thing in your family. And each one is an outstanding shooter. For me you are the new “Bonanza” channel.
Good video! I have quite a few AR-15's and I have been shooting them for over 40 years, but the AR market is absolutely ridiculous right now. For a change, I have decided to dabble a bit with Mini-14 's, and quite honestly, I really like them a lot.
From the first Ruger mini 14 I shot l liked function and fit and the accuracy was great @100 , 200 yards no issues there ! The Nosler 55 grain BT is one of my favorite bullets in it !
I bought a AR 15 one of the entry level Springfield saints and maybe I should have gotten one of those but I haven’t been overly excited about the accuracy I get from my AR I put a scope dedicated to that style of rifle it gets around a 2 to 2 1/2 inch group at 100 yards and I get a one hole group with my CZ 527 bolt rifle in 223
Is rhe long range with it a new one or the one a awhile back from the bed of the truck? It was cool even cooler of another round . No matter Carry On n God Bless
Some of the early years Mini-14s had some accuracy issues, but then some shot really well, too. For quite a while now Ruger has done pretty well with them I'm in Iowa where the minimum bore requirement for deer is .35 Cal. and there's not a lot of .358 Winchesters floating around. Lotta guys are jonesing for a.350 legend Mini-14. You got any pull with Ruger? I'll be hunting, come deer season, with my CVA Scout single .350. But I'd consider the Mini-14 if it was offered. An Iowa-14...
Yes the newer mini 14's are pretty good shooters. Ruger has done a pretty good job with those rifles. A 350 legend mini 14 would be a great deer rifle... hopefully Ruger does something like that in the future
Ok, thanks for the reply- your video’s are very well done and show what a fine family you all are ! I’ve never seen Colter Wall live, but I’ve seen Corb Lund several times- I know Corb hunts 👍 Keep um coming guys, look forward to the next one 🇺🇸🦅🥩
Any deer is plenty safe out past 250 yards if im the one shooting. But if my boy is shooting that same rifle the deer is freezer meat out beyond 500 yards. The point is this, it the shooter not the gun in most circumstances.

Thanks for watching our channel! We are certainly trying to bring a different feel to the channel and have fun as a family doing it
Wow, you said a mouthful, and you nailed it!!
The Samson a-tm stock is where the platform really shines.
Hi guys. Porter is really the most cowboy of the brothers. A left handed Bryan’s clone. Sweet child’s talk in the background. God bless. Happy trails
Yes he is the most cowboy out of us brothers. Thanks for watching!

I don’t even have one, and still found this interesting! Hearing those kids in the background is cute! Tight family is a good thing!
Thanks!

That bullet works great!
Mini 14 and mini 30 are great rifles
They sure are!
Good video.
Bought a Mini-14 the first year it came out. Good rifle.
Yes they are great rifles!
What year did they come out?
@@ranchodeluxe1 1973. They looked a bit different.

Yeah I hear ya...a good bolt gun is many times hard to beat in the accuracy department
Finally. A man tells the truth about his AR.
Request: can you guys do a 45 Colt episode? The firearms, the cartridge, stories, etc
Sure! I'll add that to the list
Awesome good information 👌
Thanks for liking

No matter Carry On n God Bless
We use the bed of the truck again but it is a new video and we take the Mini out as far as we could while still getting shots ok target

@@PearceBrothersGearGuide LOL, with deer season almost on us, a lot of guys would love to see your recommends for a deer hunting .357 carbine load
Thanks for the video. How's the cheek weld with the scope? Would the Mini benefit from a cheek riser?
It's not extremely solid but really not bad for what the rifle is intended for
Thanks for the video guys
You bet!
What company were you referring to regarding after market accessories?
Good vids to by the way.

I'll link that in the description as well!
I’ve never owned a Mini 14. I have a brother that loves his.
They are good rifles
Informative and helpful video- thanks ! Did any of you fellas catch Colter Wall in Nampa the other night ?
Thanks! And no we did not

Yes your correct! Accuracy can be very dependant on the shooter
Another good video :).
Thanks 👍

Thanks your too!
