We're losing manufacturing jobs at a high rate, mostly driven by the insane tariffs that cost American consumers $40B (!) last year alone. A lot of the time it isnt that the chemicals inside the bottle make it difficult to shit, its more that the chemicals are made in the USA sometimes as cheap or cheaper than in other countries, or slightly more and the costs of that and the bottling costs dont outweigh the shipping costs dispite the savings in other countries, also sometimes America is the main producer of some of the materials so it costs more to ship it to another country, put it in a bottle, then send it back here, completely unnecessary when you realize 90% of the work is done by machines, so you aren't saving anything in labor

You should compare the prices on all those made in USA items at HF to most other retailers because HF overcharges for most of them. You can get so many of those name brand items for less elsewhere. By all means pay too much there for the same item at Home Depot, Amazon etc. Typical HF shoppers just don't seem aware they are getting screwed.

I wouldn't think it does. Companies move to other countries with the idea of higher profit margins and basically get the same quality product. It all mostly boils down to the quality of the materials used; an American made wrench forged from pot metal is still a crappy wrench, but people love the sense of patriotism. Trust me, I used to work CNC with cheap Chinese metal. Sure the product was "made in USA," but the stuff we used to make it was worthless.

They work well for the times when you know you need to cleanup a mess and just be able to toss the towel in the trash.
ClientGraphics how can I get coupons? This will be my first time shopping at Harbor freight. Help a brother out.
Go to their site and sign up. You will receive coupons in email along with monthly catalogs featuring more coupons.
Harbor Freight coupons database
www.hfqpdb.com/harborfreightcoupons
If you are on an Android device there is a Harbor Freight coupon app. I use a site call HFQPDB.com plug in the item number and see if there is a coupon. Download the images to your phone or print them off at home.
You know why gas cans are expensive....they changed the spout after a guy got hurt or burned pouring gas....he sued n won...thats why u are not suppose to get the flexy tube when u pour gas....but u can get them off ebay
LongIslandP8ntball Good to know. I have one at home that needs replacing as the flex started to tear a few years back and has since come apart!
LongIslandP8ntball Is this what you're referring to?

The black spray can holder that turns the can into like a spray gun is made in the US I bought one thinking "great I'll use it at work for brake clean or carb clean so my already bad lungs won't get too worse" nope I barely use it just collects dust now lol
+David Post That is one that I missed it has been added to the description.

Chis the tools are actually manufactured in Canada. Their made by Irwin Krachlor's company. Krachlor tools their the largest tool manufacturer in north america formerly Worcester tool and die company Worcester, Ma. Harbour Freights paint products are made by them National Paint Company. The make the adhesive products and caulkings as well. Check out Irwin Krachlors TH-cam channel Red Beard Den of Tools. He is good friends with Eric Smidt founder and ceo of National Paint company.
So it's mostly just name brand (or private-labelled name brand) consumables that are USA made, not the tools.
I knew they sold Taiwan, China, India, and a few other countries but it looks like they have over 85+ items. Great video
Portable bandsaw blades in Bauer brand boxes U.S. built
Ok, so we haven't moved completely to China.
My local area. I gorilla advertise tiny usa stickers !
The 134a is gas from China because of the laws and cost of doing it all here in the USA. Thank you EPA
I love harbor freight. It’s like a toy store. I really don’t care if it’s made in the US or China. As long as they work I’m good with it. I love how Americans are so obsessed with things that are made in USA. News flash! A majority of the things you own including the phone they’re watching this video on is…guess what?… Made in China 🇨🇳! Get over it people. It’s impossible to be an American and only buy American products 100% of the time.
WOW...HFT stands for Harbor Freight Tools, nobody would have ever figured that one out !
Just bought a 50 pack of utility blades at hf, not made in the USA btw.
A good metal supply house should stock phosphoric acid.
I'll have to check that out next time I'm in need.
What about the tools
Spray can grip item 94815 made in usa
Thanks for spotting that item I missed and I’ll add it to the description. Thank you!
@@ClientGraphics welcome bro, it worked for me convinient to use but depends on the spray can noozle.
9:41 the ten word script is "Are you receiving our free catalogs and coupons at home". I love watching videos in harbor freight just so I can catch other stores slipping haha
When you said made in the U.S.A. I thought you meant a tool.
JOSHUA GARCIA I didn’t see any hand tools. However, I was shocked that there were over 90 items out of there more that 7000 items.
Crc is good stuff
A lot of the time it isnt that the chemicals inside the bottle make it difficult to shit, its more that the chemicals are made in the USA sometimes as cheap or cheaper than in other countries, or slightly more and the costs of that and the bottling costs dont outweigh the shipping costs dispite the savings in other countries, also sometimes America is the main producer of some of the materials so it costs more to ship it to another country, put it in a bottle, then send it back here, completely unnecessary when you realize 90% of the work is done by machines, so you aren't saving anything in labor
Really wish the hand tools were USA too
I'm going to have to take another look at HF.
Hi
Industrial Paint Pen item#62265 made by SKM
Everett Edualino Good find I missed that one. I’ll take a look next time at HF which won’t be too long😂
@@ClientGraphics tnx for replying
They have a paint spayer made in the hippie Shakespeare town of Ashland Oregon!
Yota Doug's Tool Collecting Channel If I was going to miss something Doug would find it! Do you happen to know the item number and I can update the description with it. Thanks Doug!
Cool idea for a video! I had no idea that there was that many items made in USA at HF. Seems like all consumables are made in USA...
So basically all the small crap on the racks and shelves is made here and anything that needs serious manufacturing like tools comes from China.
Yep!
Made in the usa is trademarked but they dont do tools. Meaning a company can claim made in usa without any real oversight. I'm not saying they are lying, but it may not be as made in america as everyone thinks. Good video though.
What do you mean trademarked? It cant be trademarked as that is labeling country of origin. www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/complying-made-usa-standard
Why would you get a bag for 2 items lol
I see that WD-40 stuff is made in San Diego.
Isn't San Diego in Mexifornistan?
steve
What are you trying to say with " Mexifornistan"? Just say California
@@ignaciovalenzuela310, when I lived there, in

george bonney90 Thanks for watching and the thumbs up 👍🏻
A lot of those items are impulse buys. People aren’t focused on the price like they are on the cheap tools they come to buy.
Nice to see that crap is also made in the USA.
So liquids and sealers and glues. Not any tools. 😜
What happened to the live chat? I can’t find it anywhere
Trucker88 Brads Workbench is going to be running it. Maybe this link th-cam.com/video/yKinriAH9m8/w-d-xo.html
I think most all of the items in harbor freight are made in the USA aside of tools and a few cheap gimmicks.
Quite sure products not made in the USA are equally as good.
Sam's club said they sold American made productI bought a engine hoist. After getting it home & assembling it there was a sticker that said MADE IN CHINA ASSEMBLED IN AMERICA. Assembled in America, By Me
All liquid.
Hi sir I'm a digital marketer expert i will do facebook Marketing and business promotion worldwide
Does it really matter?
I wouldn't think it does. Companies move to other countries with the idea of higher profit margins and basically get the same quality product. It all mostly boils down to the quality of the materials used; an American made wrench forged from pot metal is still a crappy wrench, but people love the sense of patriotism. Trust me, I used to work CNC with cheap Chinese metal. Sure the product was "made in USA," but the stuff we used to make it was worthless.
Run from the bandsaw blades. Bought once used on a cut and took em back they are junk!!!
Good info so if people want to still try them out hold onto your receipt or make sure you have it emailed to you incase you have issues and need to return the item.
@@ClientGraphics yes I tried the made in USA Bauer blades and they were so bad I put my Milwaukee back on with less teeth than grandma to finish the job. Then returned blades spent 4$ more and got the Milwaukee blades . Not USA made I believe but they do cut

IT'S MANKIND OR USA.
DON'T BUY US PRODUCTS.
MAINTAIN YOUR FREEDOM.
I don't care where a product is made, as long as its made properly. Its a global market. I have seen TOO MANY PRODUCTS THAT ARE MADE IN THE U.S.A. THAT ARE JUNK. As a customer/consumer, I want value for my hard earned money, and so does everybody else. I'm not willing to except a low quality product just because its made here. Seriously.
90% of the time, Chinese products are not properly made.
