- The plaintiff started dating the defendant, who said he was in the middle of divorcing his wife. The plaintiff loaned him money, and she says he hasn’t fully repaid, so she’s suing for an unpaid loan and emotional distress. The defendant thinks the plaintiff is obsessed with him. He’s countersuing for harassment and emotional distress.

As a little girl I watched my Aunt have a situation ship with a married man and it was confusing to me… I remember saying to myself when I grow up I don’t want to be in anything like that & I have never been… I’m not perfect but I don’t want NOBODY’S husband…I always cared about how it would affect her or make her feel and how it would impact the children… my aunt eventually married that man and he has become an albatross around her neck, he’s a weight in her life … it’s such a high price to pay for such low living … we must learn to be our sisters keeper!!!!

Here's the problem most are still married because the other spouse will not sign the papers the way you may get granted a divorce if the other spouse is abusive or is doing drug and than they may not grant it to you especially if your a man.

It ain't as easy as your making it I example a man wanted to divorce his wife because she has a habit of getting drunk and being unfaithful to the point that they had to get a DNA test for their son hasn't live with her for 10 years he intended to married to his new woman well the won't sign the paperwork because 1 she don't want to have to pay (the main reason) 2 she was talking about it was God plan to be married forever despite her being unfaithful (yeah figure that out ) oh the child is a man and she wouldn't get spousal support because how long they been separated so it's a no win for her oh she didn't tell her about being unfaithful he found out and she confirmed it after of course getting drunk.

I believe the plaintiff that the wife probably was physically abusive. She seems to have zero shame so I don't see her lying about that. Next time, take that money and get a hotel. Actually that's exactly what legal separation is the longer a separation is the less chance a spouse can get spousal support because if they were separated longer than actual marriage the judge you guys live apart longer than you were actually married also you have to get a spouse to sign the divorce and cost they don't just grant you a divorce unless 1 drugs 2 abuse.
