Apocalyptica is legendary and we all know this, they are one of my favorite groups to listen to. On another note, I'd like to take a sec to acknowledge the fact that great music can come from any genre. There are great hip-hop/rap artists just as well as rock, county, r&b etc. So let us be thankful for that and not loose sight of what's really important, what you all clicked this video for "APOCALYPTICA!"
In spite of (or because of) this is the first song ever composed by Apocalyptica it is one of the best songs of them. This IS the raw and concentrated Apocalyptica. The real essence of them. And the video is fantastic, too.

One thing i can defiantly say about this band/orchestra is that they inspire me to write, actually i have been writing way more than before. to finish it off i find this music quite inspiring.
you should look into it even more, from a musical standpoint, to where it is as chaotic as it is balanced, and where it is separated as well as connected. An artistic work of beauty!

I've seen them live 11 times but this song was never included in any of the setlists. I feel like I missed out on one of their best eras. Still, seeing them perform ANY of their songs is heavenly. On another note, love Eicca's lion hair :}

He mostly sits down while performing like traditional classical musicians, bowing at the end of the show as well with his former members and wearing traditional attire. Sometimes he plays with a cello designed with a Finnish flag. Paavo has described him as a cool on the outside but filled with rage inside.
this is some of the most bad ass music I have ever heard. Epic. Your band should be mainstream, making lot's of money! If you don't mind, I would like to add it to my video music background. That way more will hear it for the first time. It is GREAT stuff!
Antero is easily the greatest musician I have ever seen, and that includes Cliff Burton. He just oozes badassery. He sits there with his glasses and a hat and does his thing. The other headbangers are good and all but he just blows my mind.
