I'll forever be gutted that Taron Egerton was ROBBED for an Oscar nomination for his flawless fantastic performance as Elton John in Rocketman. He did his own singing and dancing, no one can play the icon better than Taron. A role of a lifetime! 🙌

The best actors on actors I've ever seen. Two sharp, eloquent, hyper-focused, and intelligent people sharing the joys and complexities of one of the strangest jobs in the world.
A lot of wonderful things to talk about in this, but the moment where they out Taron's crush on Rachel when he was younger was darling. She seemed both genuinely flattered, tied into the energy of their conversation here, and also subtly concerned for him being put on the spot.
Taron delivered an incredible performance in Rocketman. He is an incredible performer. I love him in Kingsman as well.
He was good in Tetris and Black Bird too. Dude has range.

Yes, the Mummy 3 was HORRIBLE. They should have said Mom was on a trip somewhere instead of poor Maria Bello shoved to fit into a role that made no sense for the franchise.

Rachel also was my crush the moment I saw the Mummy series and Taron has just been killing it IMO and the way they spoke to each other just such a back and forth that we all look for....the engagement and attention with what they each are saying is outstanding
Alright, I am now convinced that Taron Egerton is a VERY handsome wizard and here’s why:
1. Sang Your Song to audition for RADA-has played Elton John himself and is good friends with him
2. Has mentioned several times that Rachel Weisz has been his childhood crush- just did an interview talking to Rachel Weisz.

I am fortunate to know Rachel W and she is truly one of the best people I know. She is extremely caring, genuine, and has a wonderful character. She is a great person and shines like a solar flare onscreen.
Taron has grown so much, he has more of a "mature" vibe to him now that matches his talent. Rachel is brilliant. This one was great.
Black Bird is a phenomenal show. Taron was definitely snubbed for Rocketman. Rachel will always be the cute doll like face from the Mummy for me. 😊Those movies were huge back then.

i wish he flowed more with rachel’s attempts to connect on a human level (talking about his hometown, what books he’d recommend along with a therapist, his relationship with his co-writer) she’s so warm and disarming but it seems he’d prefer to discuss their two shows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it is vulnerable to discuss topics outside of work… maybe he was pressured idk but the crush part was my fav 🩵
He likely felt like he didn’t want to go there for a couple of reasons: 1. He’s told many of those stories repeatedly during many other interviews especially during Rocketman tour and 2. Not often he can have that kind of creative focused conversation with such a respected actress. I think he hit the notes just right.
It's such a short interview, and he kept trying to bring it back to her as much as he could so he didn't take over the conversation

They shouldn't have added it. These are human beings, not toys to be prodded in the hopes of getting a reaction. Gladly they handled it with grace and moved swiftly on.

i miss Rachel, i just feel like she hasn’t been in as many projects recently. if that’s a personal choice than i respect it, but if the industry is overlooking her then IM taking that personally! she’s perfection. i loved her in My Blueberry Nights with Norah Jones, a very underrated road film.

Everybody who watched Rachel Weisz in "The mommy" had a crush on her as a child, the problem is that, the probability for someone who had a crush on her among these number become a big actor and reveal it on a TV Show was so high, that this moment would be like...
