- in this video i show how to get rid of clunking coilovers while turning either at full wheel lock or half wheel look, sometimes its as easy as adding grease to some components, like i said in the video if you are still having problems with clunking even after trying to grease these spots, i would contact the manufacturer and have them trouble shoot with you.
Do a video about clunking noises and asking the viewers if they can hear it while playing some shitty music in the background.
make a comment complaining how mad you are, cry harder, lol
Music is not help us hear the CLUNK
Very very helpful 👏🏽
I hear more of a creeking and knocking sound just driving in a straight line. sometimes sounds like my wheel will fall off only on the driver side though lmao
Did you ever figure it out?
@@kao7279 nope. think i just got shitty coilovers...paid about $1200 for them too. feels like im riding on a jack hammer on bumpy roads smh
Thanks for the video man! Not looking forward to taking them off tho 😢
yeah before I came to this fix I took them off a total of 5 times lol, not fun
Hello, i've BC coilover with clunking issue after assembled, is this can fixed the clunking in any brand coilover or only for Raceland?
after getting racelands how has the ride been ? bouncy ?
It definite depends on how low you are, the lower you are the more softer it is, the higher you are the stiffer it is, the ride height the Im at right now is 2 inches lower then stock and it’s pretty bouncy, but overall I think this is one of the best cheap coil overs on the market right now
Yeah i did not grease mine when i assembled them and my ride height is max height with very very tight spring load so that makes sense as to why it sort of clunks quite sharply. Definitely think you have found my problem.
yeah unfortunately for these coil overs all you have to go off of are the basic TH-cam videos they offer, but glad to help
Are they in good condition?
Brand new at the recording of this video
Did this last?
Yeah I haven’t heard any clunking since doing this
I have an idea. Don't buy this garbage.
honestly one of the best "cheap" coilovers on the market today, I would recommend these to anyone building a budget build
Rev9 better choice don't know why people waste their money
I did coilovers on my Mustang and the whole front end was making noise. I ended up going back through and tightening everything beyond the torque specs. Haven't had a problem since.
Yeah torquing is essential, weather it’s the company of the coilovers that are giving the specs or if it’s saying to go by oem specs
