For your prerelease are you going to provide colorless basic mana (wastes) for players that want to use the eldrazi? My LGS said they're only letting you use colorless lands you open since they don''t have enough to provide them and they can't allow proxies
Why not just allow players to flip the card. So the basic land back counts as wasteland. Since most players sleeve
@@crashdnc1585 I think it has something to do with being a wpn premium store and they can't allow proxies. They were saying it was like back during kaldheim they couldn't give out basic snow lands to help buff snow synergies. They reached out to their wizards rep and got the answer that players can only open things that generate colorless mana. But I agree, just flip the card and use it as a wastes could be a great solution.
It's not your LGS, it's the actual rules of the game. You can only play with snow basics, or wastes that you open in the packs. It's the same rule as any other set with snow (like Kaldheim) or wastes (like Zendikar).
complaining about commander cards is old news, the commander looks good and is definitely playable.

There's a decent blue deck to build from this prerelease pack, nothing insane but could go 2-2.
land is nice
A LGS by me is having a prerelease for $60. I'm really debating if it would be worth it or not. I'm horrible at limited, have typically enjoyed prereleases, but the price... oof. I definitely blame WotC for that, not the LGS.
Only issue I have is actually creating a functional prerelease deck. Cool to collect but playing seems rough
Yeah, WOTC is really hurting draft and sealed events by forcing all these multicolored commander cards in every set. I have nothing against commander but sheesh they shouldn't sabotage all the other formats (including the ones that made the game great for the past 30 years).
MY LGS is charging $69...feel like they been watching Rudy videos. ugh
