FFG nuked the value of their product by printing the cards to oblivion. 60$ for a box of twilight.

I think the new boosters will ruin the game more than improve it, similar to whats happened with MTG. Collector boosters just ruined regular boosters. Lucky to get your money back on regular boxes, so you need to buy collectors, which are hit and miss, even worse is that the stakes are higher! SWU has only had 3 sets, so the fact that they are doing these already is a huge cash crab. Thanks for sharing :)

Carbonite boosters are 6 times as expensive and don't even guarantee a number of rares LOL They just exist for scalpers to rip off idiots.

Thanks for the video! Yeah, I bought one box in September! The quality was the worst I have seen out of any collector boxes save maybe Markov Manor. Truly horrific! No wonder nobody is buying the cards I cracked. They are either curved like pringles or grainy and dark like vomit from a broken printer. But, some of the cards look great, regardless!

The design of the " Condition Tokens" is nice for space. The Life counter is nice for ease of use and readability. Much nicer than dials or dice type life counters. They've really though ahead as far as playability goes in their design choices. Sure they aren't "thematic" like B&G's, but these look to be better for normal and multi-deck use. The "shield" are summoning sickness tokens according to their site. The pricing isn't much different than Beatle and Grimm's stuff, it is more granular from "Buy The Same Token" but they're also very different products. You can also get replacements from BTST without all of the "extras" that the B&G sets have bundled in. Life counter: $25 USD Monarch Token: $4 USD Condition token set of 2 each: $30 USD Condition Token individual: $1 USD "Planeswalker Token Set": $19 USD (That consists of the remaining products here with x16 stat tokens) x4 Summoning Sickness tokens: $5 USD x2 End and Upkeep Tokens: $3 USD x1 Stat token: $1 USD So that's roughly a $78 package in the vid.

If you are looking to resell, probably not, but I got lots of great cards and 2 big hits. I’m happy! Single cards of anything doesn’t seem to hold much return value except vintage

This Jumpstart was also serving as a natural extension of the Beginner Box, since the Beginner Box had its own 10 Jumpstart sets used to introduce the player to the game. That is why they marketed it as entire ecosystem and not a separate product.

i think this set is a nice introduction for new people into magic, and a good templated format for newbies to hop right into standard format right on the go, i havent tried to do a draft and play with them yet, but I think that would be very fun in a card shop like yours!

The llanowar elves didn't have the anime art. The Anime art was Dionus, Elvish Archdruid, which is still one of the higher hits out of JS25, even if only about 5 bucks right now. Every JS25 pack has an anime card (which is pretty obvious when you look at artist name. They make the bulk of the "top" pulls, but ought to be set aside regardless, as they're often sought after. Looks like the top 3 were Thurid, Shroofus, and Dionus, and rounding out the top ten were a bunch around 1-3 bucks. The EV is really taking a dive right now, but I'd say it's a better JS product than the set-themed ones, and who knows when any of the cards unique tot he set may pop off.

Sorry but no. I payer 230 for the box and i got a value of around 120. Thats not even remotely good. Best card was entomb 2x. The rest was mainly garbage.

How do we tell the difference between first release and reprint? I paid top dollar for my first box and left it unopened for collector value. I don't want value of mine to go down below what I paid because reprint happened. Will mine say 2023 and new ones 2024?
