“…along with some political issues they were facing.” Emergent theology and political influences of their time can’t be separated.

“And the Son” was added in 589 AD. The Creed at that time just had “proceeds from the Father”. This is the Filioque controversy that split Catholics and Orthodox

Trinitarians will tell you Nicea decided in Athanasius’ favor, but they won’t tell you that within a few years the empire reversed its position and Arianism was accepted. Athanasius’ side would reclaim the top spot eventually, but it was by no means just a given that his side won.

To be honest I listen to your video 3 times and somehow I still don’t understand because you put everything together and not separate so I don’t know if you are talking about the council of Nicaea or Constantinople

Is the Latin music really necessary? Didn't the other three apostolic churches also accept this council?? God bless.

The Eastern churches were losing the battle against the heresy of Arianism, so in order to combat this the Pope made an executive decision using his authority as the Bishop of Rome as the successor of the prince and chief of the apostles Peter which our Lord and Savior made the rock of the church along with the keys to bind and loose added the Filioque.
Thanks to the Catholic Church our Lord Jesus Christ. Our redeemer and eternal God no longer was perceived as subordinate to the Father and all of Trinity was now understood as equal.
The Orthodox Churches have yet to show the spirit of authority since they have none. The authority is with the Bishop of Rome which is where the apostolic see the Holy See is.
The Chair of Peter. The Prince of the Apostles. Deemed by God Himself.
