With zard getting a bit of buff with just a few cards from A2. It's really hard to run Dialga EX atm. A Moltres ex with a Dawn could really wreak your day forcing you to retreat leaving you with an active pokemon with low energy or has yet to evolve. They kill that or they just Cyrus the dialga in the back and you're pretty much screwed.
You can try the MI egg too. It doesn't attack like the apex egg. But it gives you 2 energy on the Exeggutor ex. This allows for a bit of mobility if ever you'd need to retreat allowing you to hold of on using your single Leaf.
knew straight away Palkia and Darkrai would be meta bc people love the Misty 50/50 esp the Japanese community, and Darkrai "attacks" without ending your turn, which felt insane on reveal.
Before the expansion dropped I was higher on Dialga than I am today and I think that‘s how most people feel about Dialga. I thought there was no way Palkia would be better than Dialga but turns out Manaphy is way more efficient and faster at cheating energy than Dialga is. I didn't see Magnezone coming either. I think it's genius that someone came up with the idea of playing Magnezone in dual energy type decklists, but the fact that everything is played with Magnezone is pretty annoying.
An idea I was playing with but I could not fully complete due to lack of cards was a gallade + dusknoir, the mythical slab is able to draw more consistently due to gallade having psychic basic and stage 1 pokemon. Could be at least interesting but drawing the dusknoir line too early while missing gallade seemed to be a problem I was having and it also seemed pretty susceptible to more aggressive decks. Not sure if running more than one 3 stage line is viable but maybe you could try this if you were planning to try different gallade decks.
I feel a few of your recent decks have been short 1-2 basics! this meta feels quicker besides darkzone and gyarados so could get punished for drawing only 2 basics and a bunch of tools in your opening hand and draws
Shoutout to the commenter who hasn't spent any money on the game, but I've spent $100s-ish and I just finally got immersive Dialga so I have both immersives now and 2 of every ex from both of the new packs. Would I rather have these things or not have a gambling addiction? Who knows, that's not really the point
I knew Darkrai would be good, but I underestimated how good. I thought we'd see more dialga to power melmetal. And honestly Palkia is doing a bit better than I anticipated. I thought Palkia was really bad at first glance.
Pretty sure we'll be able to once we get the next set. Probably not the upcoming one but the one after that. Probably just a way to keep the set fresh and new without making the chase cards to easy to get

New emotes and discord perks coming soon
Please take a look at a game called Thr Bazaar, it look like TFT and its super fun
I really thought Dialga would be meta. Like major.
I think it’s good but maybe not the best yet
@ I was wrong about Palkia too… I was just very wrong lol.
I think metal in general needs more selections. Atleast you can now play a full metal deck.
@@richmccann2052wdym? Palkia is actually doing pretty solid in the meta it isnt darkrai but its still above 50% win rate in tournaments

I put Shaymin in there for a lil cheeky passive healing too
having to lead as shamin might sting a bit
Cress is one where it feels like limiting healing to coming from every zone was not necessary

Even infernape + moltres deck has much trouble in this deck since you can ramp both hp by cape out of infernape's ko range.
most brilliant title i've ever seen! keep up the great work cowboy 👍
I made a new account just to create this deck last night and now here is a polished version right before my eyes
I like running just 1 celebi with the egg line, I only need 2 pokeballs, 2 oaks, 1 communication to setup my board
20:05 youre just gonna cut your own backstory like THAT ? 😂 im curious now
lol that is a funny edit. Sorry! Fulls story on stream but I lived with a Japanese foreign exchange student when I was a little kid.
Been seeing a lot of Exeggutors as predicted to counter Darkrai. Surprisingly, still beating them all.
For me, I was really really high on Darkrai + Weavile. I was pretty shocked to see how poorly it performed on your tournament.
Drudd wall, with marowak ex and galade ex is next level
Love that exeggutor has been clutch anti meta since launch.
Being using this deck since the Darkrai release date
Ruin Maniac world be a cool support to get for fossil mons that allows for you to grab one fossil from your deck

omg the title hits hard hahaha
Bro, how do you not call this deck the Green Eggs and Yanm 😂
I’m very disappointed in myself
@@valorousjoe22 ahhh missed oppurtunity. This is perfect!
Yan Mega Nutz. 🤣🤣🤣
Ah yes, Underlords. I miss that game.

they need to release a lance support card that allows dragonite to hit a target all 4 times
Definitely thought yanmega. Which if it’s the meta counter. Go team yanmega ✌🏼

Yeah it feels like many more quick options
I beat a moltres ex and charizard deck with this, great deck to play against old meta too
Thought Infernal would be meta. Such a fun card with a great immersive art

I’ve been using Alakazam for fun and it’s nice against darkcry lol because they spend time adding energy and alakazam is like yes yes add moreee
Very fun
how do you even set board? aren't darkrai usually backline? while for attacker they use weavile etc. also alakazam weak to dark and being 4 stages..
@ because I am okay with letting mons fall and using Sabrina and Cyrus… and using plenty of what this game is built on “luck”
6:32 i agree.... There are also some youtubers who act like they came up with a deck by themselves when other people have already been using them
Ran this this with double Shaymin, better that way IMO. But I still like this version, too!
I drop one of the tools and only one pokeball
I pulled two Yanmega EX, but haven't pulled any Yanma yet. I really want to try it with Manaphy & Dawn.
Decks like this, I just pull draw all the support/item cards and just brick more often than I can actually play
I use 1 combee just to increase basic count and higher chance of egg turn 2
14:00 RIP clash mini
I really wanted to hear the story about how you spoke Japanese as a child lol
Darkrai the new mewtwo, confirmed. Also, Druddigon still the most anti-game card
Feels like it
but i feel i see druddigon less tho..
I knew Darkrai would be good, but I underestimated how good. I thought we'd see more dialga to power melmetal. And honestly Palkia is doing a bit better than I anticipated. I thought Palkia was really bad at first glance.
Wait, there is a Pokémon autochess?
I still don't have a single cress ex :(
Yanmeggutor
Meta is non ex articuno and the cat.
Why can’t we trade the new cards? Smh
It is pretty lame that we cannot.
Because they want you to spend your money on the new set.
Pretty sure we'll be able to once we get the next set. Probably not the upcoming one but the one after that. Probably just a way to keep the set fresh and new without making the chase cards to easy to get
Auto-chess era here!
What is Pokemon auto chess?? And god pack exploit!???
Got none of them
Lost 9 in a row with this after winning 13 in a row with lucario/rampardos. F
