  • Lori is the most amazing addition to our family and he's made our lives sooo much happier. These are a few of the videos he took of him growing up in his first 6 months. This video's mainly for us so we have something to look back on but I thought a few Viszla lovers might appreciate it :)

    We lost our Vizsla on December 5,2019 at the age of 15 1/3 years after a very brief illness and due to the current pandemic going it will not be until 2021 before we will be able to get another Vizsla.
    During the time we had her with considerable help were able to put on Field Dog Junior, Field Dog and two Field Championships.
    They are truly an amazing breed!

    What a beauty he is. We have two littermate Vizsla-mix pups and had the good fortune to watch them both grow up over the last 4+ years. They still have the same crazy energy!

    Oh my gosh, this is my Brittany (Jake) to a tee! He passed away last November, was the worst terror ever to live, but was loved by everyone - even people who didn't like dogs. He had 6 surgeries, 2 knee replacements, but was my darling. Thanks for the reminder of how crazy he was and the love lost.

    So adorable! How did you survive the sharkie stage? Our little man Cody is 5 months tomorrow and his sharkies come out quite a bit lately. We adore him to bits and he too likes our clothes ... to bits :D

      @@SophiaLunaDesigns i have been reading alot online about the breed and i do think its the breed for me. Are they destructive about the house. How long do you walk him for a day

    • @SophiaLunaDesigns
      @SophiaLunaDesigns  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn’t say they’re destructive generally... but they’re very powerful and so can be very destructive if they’re distressed. Lorax ripped up my carpet when he had to stay in the room while people were in the house, he ripped up his bed when trying to crate train him. He even ripped up my sofa when I had to lie down as I was sick. They’re a wonderful breed and they will love you harder than anything ever has but a lot of them get very distressed when left alone (no matter how short the time span). He’d never just randomly destroy something though, it’d only ever be if he were fearful. I hope that doesn’t put you off but I don’t want to paint it as easy 😅 they need a lot of exercise. They could always go for another walk 😂 off leash play is the best thing, in the morning before dinner and before bed

    Did the vizsla are good guard dog ?????
    How do they worth ?????

    • @vestafreyja
      @vestafreyja 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm assuming English is not your first language.
      I would not consider them to be good guard dogs although they make excellent companion animals. If you are looking for a guard dog there are numerous dog breeds that would make a better choice ranging from German Shepard, Doberman Pinscher and Rottweilers to name just a few.
      How much are they worth - priceless - seriously it depends upon the market and breeder however you can expect to pay $1,000 to $3,000 USD. The actual cost of the Vizsla should be the least of your concerns as the cost of maintaining a healthy Vizsla over the life span of up to 15 to 16 years will far exceed the initial cost of your dog. Just by feeding your dog a healthy dog food, treats, cost of training, vet bills and the like you will far exceed the initial cost of your dog within just the first few years of owning your dog let alone over the life span of your dog. As a quick calculation expect to spend at least $1,500 to $2,000 as a absolute bare minimum for food and health care on a yearly basis.

      Villas Patil we have a wire haired Vizsla and she will bark at strangers (was taught by our black Labrador) who come near the house. If an intruder did come in though she would be happy to meet them! She is super affectionate, easy to train, needs lots of exercise. This breed is also sensitive, they want to please you and if they don’t they get genuinely upset so you need to bear this in mind with training. Now I have had a Vizsla as a family member, I honestly can’t see how to live life without one!

    These are cute dogs but the only thing I don’t like about them is that they are not unique , everyone looks and behaves almost the same and because there are so many of them. When I go to the park I see like 5 of them. But they are still very cute dogs don’t get me wrong

    • @goliver3846
      @goliver3846 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why would you want something unique? Vizsla's need a lot of exercise and an urban environment is not for them.

      @@li3538 Its not rude, its an opinion and who cares if someone doesn't like it. I have a Vizsla, this is my experience and if it stops someone getting one and keeping it in inappropriate circumstances, then that would be a good thing. Clearly I know this will not happen, because people always think that they are different.
