I have this song on a 45 rpm by the Byrds from back in the 60s. I always loved this song and this version by Jacob Dylan and Beck is fabulous. I loved it in the Echo in the Canyon documentary and this uncut version is great.
WayUpInMaine sorry for the late reply! You’ve probably figured it out by now or moved on completely ha ha. Yeah it’s just a D triad voice on the 5th fret down to C over the open D string to a G over the open D to a straight up D voicing.
In case you are not aware, this performance is part of a film currently on Netflix. The film, “Echoes In The Canyon”, was produced by Jakob Dylan, who is singing here. Jakob is Bob Dylan’s youngest son. The film features many stars of the Laurel Canyon music scene in the later 1960’s, including Brian Wilson, Eric Clapton, Ringo Star, David Crosby, and many others. It also includes Tom Petty’s last televised interview/appearance before his death.

You killed it my man. Great band! This show needs a full video and album release. Is that in the works?
Old Carole King song, made famous in my neighbourhood by Nils Lofgren, but in my cousins' by the Byrds. Gorgeous!
