It was all about timing. Not only did this come out amidst a deluge of other racing games at the time, it also came out literally the same day as Red Dead Redemption. Had it come out at least a month later, it probably would've gotten looked at much more closely, and the chances of a sequel would've been much higher!

It always warms my heart to see this game get the love and recognition it deserves! This is such a loving tribute to a criminally overlooked game, that I'm willing to forgive and (mostly) forget about the use of the Key Bridge Disaster footage at 6:41. Just...don't ever do anything like that again, please.
