I like cooking gammon in cola in the slow cooker. You cam baste it and put it in the oven at the end if you like it crisper. What a shame about Butlins, I hope nobody was hurt. At least you'd had your holiday by then. Hopefully they get the repairs done and back to normal soon x

Hi every one your roast dinner looked so nice Cheryl you said you don't know why your roasties don't taste like Stevens it's because you cooked them that's what mymum said t o me when j said my food doesn't taste like hers .I love gammon we've Ben going out for Sunday dinner well at tea time and i always have gammon on my dinner my son he's grown up doesnt like it he gets turkey . I picked up a leaflet in the pub we go to it had the Christmas day menu you got 4 courses for 60pound a starter then a turkey dinner a pud then mince pie and coffee or t I said to my son well we won't be coming think we wil have a lazy Christmas Dinner on the Christmas eve then graze all day Xmas and boxing day love fran xxx
