From the beginning, whenever we broke camp, everyone had to walk around and pick up 10 pieces of trash (cig butts didn't count but pick 'em up anyway!). Later, I learned that when my daughter was in college and camped with her friends, she'd have them do the same thing! That's an internalized teaching folks. :)
What a beautiful tradition and isn't it the best when you see your kids move forward with the lessons you have taught them?! Thanks so much for following along and raising a new generation who is considerate of others!
Leave No Trace is key to keeping these beautiful wild places accessible for generations to come! A few years ago I found tags for our backpacks that list the LNT principles (one for kids and one for adults), I bought one for each of us and we keep them clipped to our hiking backpacks, so that they are always handy to review. Almost every hike with my youngest boys (8 & 10 yrs) we talk about at least 1 principle. Usually it's "Trash Your Trash" because we ALWAYS have snacks, and inevitably see some else's trash left behind.
The boy scout motto. Leave it better than you found it. So sad that organization got tarnished by a few bad people. Did great work with young men. We all need to be good scouts.
So many of those things are not being taught to the next generation. It is why we started volunteering when we hit the road as it was so important to us that our girls grew up knowing these important lessons.
Exactly!!! A good life lesson that many children have never been taught. It is really sad, because the benefits of living this way always come back to you. So sad that people are so self absorbed and distracted these days to realize they are hurting themselves and the world they live in creating negative effects down the road. Thanks so much for watching!
Leave no trace applies no matter where you go. It can be the wilderness, a beach or lakeshore, or even in town. When you leave, make it look like you were never there.
Absolutely agree! We even think it is important to teach our children that we need to leave places better than they were before. There is a major disconnect with this next generation growing up in our country that gives very little recognition of their responsibility to take care of the things they own and use, and this air of entitlement that they shouldn't have to worry about or deal with these things. What a rude awakening is coming if we can't find ways to show them what their indifference is going to bring to their lives and in turn this world.
This place is like so many western spots open to primitive camping. To try to patrol and catch offenders is almost impossible in part due to the vastness of the territory. Locals use it as well for elk hunting and fishing for rainbow trout. We go in there to pick huckleberries in season as the cabin is just down river from "quake" lake. Love Henry's Lake!!
So true! When the rangers were taking us to the sites to clean, one of the sites had been vacated with a fire still going - like with flames. They are gone and there is nothing the rangers can do but we put the fire out and rebuilt the fire pit. I don't think people realize just how much land it out there to cover. You could have 100 rangers in that area and people would still get away with stuff. SO glad that you and you family have been able to enjoy such a beautiful place! Can't wait to get back to that area!
Another great 26 min 26 seconds of great content. As one other comment said these 3 letter agencies are taking more control everyday. To the point it is out of control. I live in the Black Hills of SD. Here the Forest Service has done everything to completely wipe out our logging/saw mills industry. At the same time will not allow people onto their private property because they have 2 ft which an easement is needed. Sure there are things I agree with when it comes to common sense. But they act like dictators when it comes to small issues total BS.
Your passion for the environment (and passing it along to your daughters) is incredible. Thank You for all of your hard work. May God Bless you along your travels, and of course for your devotion to bringing this to many people.
Really appreciate your support and encouragement! We want our girls to know the importance of taking care of everything they have been given in life and to be grateful for it. God bless you and your family as well. Thank you for watching and taking the time to write to us!
Thank you for all the hard work! My husband, Tad, and I pick up trash everywhere we stop, when walking our dogs. Sure would like to say hello some day!
This was so much fun to watch! We were at Red Rock RV just a few days before this event so it was great to see it again and to see the area from Cory’s drone shots. Looks like an amazing event and what a great idea to serve the communities.
Always leave your dispersed campsite cleaner than you found it!! Pretty simple but others ruin it for us all! Thank for volunteering all those folks to clean up that area!!😃👍
There will always be someone who takes advantage or doesn't follow the rules, but we will continue to take care of these beautiful areas so that future generations can enjoy them like we have! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Loosing access to public land is very frustrating. I donate to Blue Ribbon Coalition constantly to help fight against the special interest groups that keep getting trails shut down. Great video!
This video has me in tears, I long to do exactly what you and your family are doing. Traveling, meeting new people, seeing the beauty in everything you do daily, and helping keep our beautiful america clean. I wish I knew how to get myself in the position to be able to do this. This is my calling.
Thank you to all involved on the cleanup, lot of factors paly into the shutdown, I watch a channel that is a towing channel, Casey Ladelle channel, they hauled so many crap vehicle's trash etc. out an Oregon forest where he's near it was insane. I'm just like how these people get theses campers and how'd they get there, most were homeless and sadly probably drug addicts.
Everyone on our seRV with Purpose Teams did such a great job. It is heartbreaking to see the garbage left and damage done to these beautiful places. And even more heartbreaking that some people are so lost and broken that they find themselves in these terrible situations. We will continue to do all we can as a family to seRV the communities we visit and encourage others with this platform to do the same. Thanks for watching and being part of this journey with us!
This week was such a blast!!! This past week was a hiccup in our travels as Terri was admitted to the hospital and then flown by helicopter to another hospital. Thankfully she is better and was discharged last Monday.
We are so sorry to hear about Terri's hospital visit, but so glad to hear that she is home and recovering. Praying for continued healing and health over here. Thank you for watching and for joining us!
Love Henry's Lake State Park. Stayed there a few years ago and Loved it. Yellowstone West is awesome town.. hope to stay there this year when I take my 87 year old mom to Yellowstone. Need to find a VRBO, cabin or hotel or even checkmp out cost of Hotel in the park
We loved it there! And we hope you are able to get your mom to Yellowstone this year! It is such a special place! Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
I am a true lover of Island Park and Yellowstone. No telling how much time I have spent there. Use to own a cabin in Island Park... just a great area. The Stanley area of Idaho is also fantastic.
We were blown away by the beauty of that area especially as all the leaves were changing! Getting a glimpse of the northern lights was a bonus! We are also HUGE fans of Stanley and need to get back there SOMEDAY soon! This was the last time we were there: th-cam.com/video/bZxayEP6Zbw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TRNbyp3EMbYXT3Qj th-cam.com/video/L32QLnSuXJk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=I5T_XD-mdd8pIGUp
Thank you so much for setting such a great example! It is so important for us to take care of our things and the areas we stay so that those places will continue to be available to us!
It's such a cool video. Getting to help out with the clean-up projects was well worth the time. The potluck was so cool. We need to do it again soon. Lippert Getaway was our first real experience into camping. We had a great time made better by being with friends. AND made better still by meeting new friends. We are looking forward to seeing what's coming next.
We are so THRILLED that you and Ellen were able to join us and that your first event was such a fun one! Thanks for the brisket and making the event so fun for us and the girls! They had so much fun in Uncle Jim's side by side! Can't wait for the next events to come this year as you guys hit the road! See you soon, friends!
When my boys were toddlers we camped at Greer's Ferry Lake in Arkansas and they did what comes natural to boys in proximity to a body of water, they started filling the lake up one rock at a time.
The whole Island Park area was absolutely stunning! And the drone was definitely NOT happy in that little space! 😂 Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
What a fantastic initiative, here in Australia, we also have the same problem with campers/ people who disrespect the land that we all use. Congrats on an awesome video from down under Oz👍🇦🇺
Thanks so much for joining us from the land down under! Really hope to get to Australia SOMEDAY soon! It has been on the list for many years! And we would love to have you join seRV from where ever you are in the world! Here is the link to our Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/lippertserv It is a wonderful place to find ideas on how to give back and to just encourage others as we all try to make this world a better place!
Corey..... that night sky scene is EPIC!!!! The tunes are fantastic the scenery is heart warming.... Thanks from Pop's Mr. Dink and this old SeaBee!! Travel Safe!
@@FindingOurSomeday Pop's and Mr. Dink are in Estero Florida.... I'm home in Ohio... freezing!! Stay safe kids.... Jess can you please please please stop those kids from growing up so fast!!!! You're Mom!! Mom's can work Miracles!! Lilly n Layla are just growing up to fast!! Hugs and Prayers!!
Finally I get to see the Idaho video! I’m the guy who was staying across the lake from you guys when you were there. Looks like you all did a great job at the getaway.. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future. I can’t believe I missed the northern lights…😢
Really hope it was worth the wait! We had such a blast this year (per usual) but the location added such a fun dynamic to the whole event! Really hope that we get to connect SOMEDAY soon! And that you are able to see the Northern Lights the next time! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
We just found your videos and we love them. We travel but not with a travel trailer. We load up our SUV with our toy Poodle and hit the road! We started during covid and have been out traveling every chance we get. We have enjoyed the information and photographs. We took five weeks in July of 2023 was in Idaho amount many other places. Love it
Oh my gosh, we stopped at an overlook on the Oregon coast at the beginning of our RV adventure and we had yellow paint ALL OVER our truck AND the front of our 5th wheel! We had gone through a tunnel and were hugging the middle since there wasn't any traffic...I guess they had just painted!! It was awful. I was able to scrape all of it off the paint of the truck & RV right there before it completely dried, but it was still all over the inside of the wheel well and the mud flaps of the truck when we sold it (for unrelated reasons). To this day you can still see it on our SnapPads on the driver side though! It was crazy! Also, we randomly stopped at the Earthquake Lake visitor center that same summer. Our video about it will be coming up soon since we are so behind getting videos up. lol But what a very tragic but interesting story that was. We love this area. Great job on the video and your service, as usual! ~ Ashley
I spent almost all of last summer in the Island Park area and I will probably spend a lot of this coming summer up in that area also. Great photography as always.
Absolutely beautiful! We are so grateful that we got the opportunity to explore so much of it in the short time we were there! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
I love this , right now til the hubby can retire or we figure out a way to hit the road we have our rv at a permanent spot at a campground and I am amazed at how people come in on weekends and leave the it disgusting makes me so angry because its my happy place and I feel like do you do this at your own home !!!!!
It is really sad that others have no respect for things or places or the other people around them. Such a shame that they didn't have anyone teaching them how to behave better. And so shortsighted that they don't see how it negatively affects their own lives and the world they live in. We will continue to fight against that by cleaning up these places. I am so sorry to hear that this has happened at your happy place, but I encourage you to use that frustration for good and organize some of the other campers at the park for a clean up day. There is nothing more bonding and special than seRVing alongside others. We have a TON of resources to organize an event if you are looking for any help. You can join our seRV Facebook group here: facebook.com/groups/lippertserv and you can check out our website here: www.servwithpurpose.com . Thanks for watching and hope to meet you out here SOMEDAY with hubby retires!
Wow, such a good gathering. I was getting goosebumps when you guys had the projections to the flag. I was so sad when they took it out of schools. I enjoy your broadcast so much I look forward to seeing you guys each and every week.
The Lippert Getaway is such an amazing event where we get to connect with old friends and make new ones instantly! Such an incredible community. It is devastating that these expressions of love for our nation are being pushed out. We will always teach our girls to be proud of the wonderful country that we are blessed to live in.
Gratitude and respect to all of our unsung heros and nature warriors out there keeping the sacred land alive and fighting for it's right to thrive. Most folks dont understand the seriousness of caring for our planet. I guess thise are the fill in people. They are there but they don't have any heart, thoughts or feelings. They were just put here to fill in the spaces. 🤷 Hopefully whatever program they are running on will get updated with some common sense and empathy for other life forms but until then, its the people protecting the natural experience and those raising awareness about the problem who deserve tons of appreciation and respect.
Awesome views, still waiting for you to come out with a calendar 😊 Leppert is awesome also, customer service etc. I have a few upgrades from them with their help.
We had a great time camping with you guys during Getaway this year. Hopefully we will be able to see you again and I can get Corey his ride in our Can Am.
So great to meet you guys as well! That rig was awesome and Corey would love to take a ride SOMEDAY! Hope you are all well and that you have safe travels this year!
One of our favorite parts of the Lippert Getaway - Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem. It is also very special that they have used the same American flag for the Opening Ceremonies for the last 3 years!
All I could think was, "Keep you heads, HANDS, ARMS and legs inside the cars at all times." My favorite TH-camr broke his hand in one of those side by sides.
Great video! I mean no offense to you or the Rangers, but please stop saying "It's going to get shut down if people don't start obeying the rules, keeping it clean, etc". Instead say "Let's quit punishing the decent folks that play by the rules, pay the fees and taxes, and start fining these offenders". Start by making it not look like a campsite, post it no camping, and randomly patrol problem areas and fine the offenders. Sure, I know they are dealing with budget cuts and fewer resources. But, they know where the problem areas so, start patrolling some of those areas and use the revenue to get additional resources. Closing public land is not the answer it just makes people less likely to support additional public land funding, less likely to stop at the gift shop, and less likely to want to pay any other fees or buy wildlife license plates, decals, etc.
@@t.l.robinson2162 100% correct, they can word it as they please and perhaps I could have also worded my comment better, but the point of the comment stands. People are getting tired of being punished for another's bad behavior.
Really big fans of a good Timelapse! The girls have always loved to try to beat Corey at skipping rocks, they aren't quite there yet! I think he may actually be the best! 😉 Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for your support! We will continue to work toward seRVing others and making this world a better place. Especially those places that we want other campers and RVers to be able to experience for themselves! Thanks for watching!
Great Video! Corey wanted to drift the UTV....HA...be careful what you ask for on those things😊 I swear, I thought I heard a scream when you manuvered the UTV... was that you sceeaming Corey😜
😂 Nope - the screaming was definitely me! Corey is an excellent driver and I trust him with my life. I was just screaming with joy! So much fun drifting around those corners! Thanks for your constant support, Sandy!
Corey is always really careful. He tore one of his rotator cuff in the Navy and tore the other one when he was a detailer overcompensating with is good shoulder. It is not a fun injury to recover from. Thanks for watching!

While I agree we should all leave places better than we found it, some of the groups that want to shut down access to places have been working on that for years creating misleading studies etc. I'm a former member of the Sierra Club I saw some of the false claims first hand which is why I'm a former member, I'm pretty sure the only way to slow down the shut downs is to start litigation on the subject.
Definitely a lot of politics surrounding public lands. We are going to focus on what we can do as a family - take care of the things we have been given and the places we are blessed to visit and make them better than they were when we arrived. If we can help others to be more conscious of and considerate in their actions, we will have met a goal for this platform. And hopefully it will lead to deeper discussions about what is going on in the background and can start a movement there to cause some change and reveal the truth about what is actually happening. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to share!
Why aren’t you at 100K subscribers? You’re excellent on TH-cam. I worry about losing the right to camp on BLM land too, and it’s because of the campers that think they can do whatever they want on federal land. From shotgun shells, trash, nails and broken glass, it’s truly a mess in some areas. We no longer camp at a family favorite because our camping experience would be spent picking up garbage the entire time. And, it is so unsafe for our children. So sad. THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS and FEDERAL EMPLOYEES THAT ARE TRYING TO IMPROVE THE SITUATION.
Really appreciate your kind words and are so sad to hear that you are no longer able to camp at a favorite spot. What a shame. We will continue to fight for our public lands and find ways to keep them clean and open for others to enjoy. Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to comment!
@@donmarshall7706 Though we were very behind in the first year of posting because we were unwilling to skip things that we thought would be beneficial to others and we wanted to make sure that we had edited videos of our travels with our girls, we try to stay with in 1-2 months behind in our videos so there is always a video log available if we have something come up like sickness or family, etc. The only time that gets more behind is around the holidays. We film all summer and fall as much as we can so that we can take some time off from filming around the holidays. We are months behind right now in TH-cam time, but in a few videos we will be caught up with in 2 weeks. It is what works for us and our family which is our main priority. Thanks so much for watching!

It was such a great event and having so many others join us for the seRV events was wonderful! What we didn't get to share in the video is that the attendees donated so many items that we were able to pack over 100 blessing bags for our homeless friends at the event and then everyone took one to hand out on their travels. The event was wonderful with so many connections and new friends as everyone left, but the impact that was made by this group was such a gift! Thanks for watching!
I don't own an RV, but I do worry about the BLM land especially after on you tube channel I watch. Up at Lake Tahoe, over July 4th the shoreline in one area was just trashed. They had a volunteer crew (made up of locals and travelers who came to clean it up. Thank you for doing what you do.
SO sad to hear about the damage to Lake Tahoe, but I am uplifted in knowing that others are coming together to make a difference and fix these issues! We will do all we can to keep encouraging others to seRV in the communities they are traveling through and leave places better than they were when they arrived!
We do love it and use it still, but it is a piece of art that we want to take care of and keep perfect, so it isn't something we use every day. It is for special occasions! Can't wait to share the newest additions to the collection soon!
@@FindingOurSomeday I actually bought one from the same guy after watching your video about it. It’s been at my parent’s house for a while now. Thank you for your response and I really enjoy your channel.
There are so many places that need it! Our goal is to encourage others to get a group together and clean up the areas they live in or visit. Imagine the difference that could be made if we all did that! Thanks for watching!
We see that some times as well. But we also see campers and RVers coming from all over leaving sites a mess and full of garbage. It is so sad and something that we will continue to fight against. Than you so much for watching!
We totally understand that our videos are not to going to appeal to everyone. We make videos that are a physical way to remember this time together as a family before our girls go and start their own. And we edit with that one purpose in mind. We are so grateful that you have been on this journey for us and hope you enjoy some of our future videos coming up!
I love that you're putting Jessie in the "spotlight" women should be elevated whenever possible! your daughters will find their niche as well, with your platform I'm sure. no offense Corey, you're an awesome producer... and host of course!
Corey has always supported and encouraged me in every aspect of life and I do my very best to provide the same support for him. I think it is equally important to lift each other up and applaud each other in our strengths and giftings. We hope that our girls always know their value and worth and know how to see it and cheer it on in their future husbands as well! Thank you so much for watching and joining us on this journey! - Jess
BLM already shutting down free camping in areas of the Superstition Wilderness at Apache Junction, Az. Trash, abandoned rigs and cars, illegal dumping. It was a great resource once. Now we are told it will be a fee area with limited stay.
Such a shame. Those who have no respect and take advantage ruin it for so many others. We will continue to do all we can to keep these areas clean and open for others to enjoy!
They will find any reason to shut it down. It’s solvable. My opinion. They want these lands for other reasons. There will always be bad apples. Need to manage it better. Manage the money and resources better. Penalties need to be enforced. My two cents. I also got this feedback from a BLM ranger here where we live
Definitely a flawed system. Our goal will always be to encourage others to be responsible with the use of our public lands and to leave it better than it was before. And to educate the next generation to do the same!
I normally can't watch people four wheeling and camping because I live where the tourist won't stay on the trails and throw their beer bottles at rocks. But I didn't hate ya'll at all ! 😅
There would be unprecedented pushback on this. The federal government is far far too big and beyond their britches, and they do not have this power of people. They will push it though.
So go after the people ruining it for those who want to enjoy it. Also, BLM land isn't just for people. Wildlife is being impacted by the surge of users. www.blm.gov/blog/2022-04-07/restoration-and-resilience-blm-managed-lands-new-mexico
We have heard this, but when you travel full-time, it can be very difficult to find a time and place to be able to get it fixed. Thankfully only one person had a lot on their truck and Corey helped get them the tools they needed to get it off.

FOR OVER 50 YRS. OF CAMPING I HAVE ALWAYS LEFT MY CAMPING SPOT CLEANER THAN HOW IVE FOUND IT 😊❤❤❤
Thank you so much for setting such a great example!
Your family is amazing, that's why I love watching you all so much. Thanks for sharing, such a beautiful time. Love yah Nancy
Nancy, we are blessed by your constant support and love. Thanks for being here for us!
When my boys were toddlers we camped at Greer's Ferry Lake in Arkansas and they did what comes natural to boys in proximity to a body of water, they started filling the lake up one rock at a time.
There is something so special about skipping rocks with your children. So glad your boys grew up knowing that joy!
Spectacular sites! So gorgeous!! Tip for Corey: Taking off is to go UP not forward! LOL
@FindingOurSomeday G'day guys, thanks for getting back. You will love Australia. Great camping, and the wildlife is amazing. Safe travels .
Thank you for cleaning up. They are great parks.
It is our pleasure - and our duty! If people want to use these beautiful places, they must also care for them! Thanks for watching!
Nice campground. Stayed there coming up from Craters of the Moon and headed to West Yellowstone. Drove down to the lake too!
Red Rock was gorgeous! We would highly recommend staying there and exploring the area around the lake! Thanks for joining us!
Corey..... that night sky scene is EPIC!!!! The tunes are fantastic the scenery is heart warming.... Thanks from Pop's Mr. Dink and this old SeaBee!! Travel Safe!
So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching! Hope you guys are well!

Red Rock in Island Park was awesome!! Great meeting you guys and see ya on the road!!
We really enjoyed the campground and the staff there were wonderful! So nice meeting you as well and hope to catch up again SOMEDAY soon!
Thank you for your awesome work. Keeping America the Beautiful
Thank you so much for being part of our journey! We love our country and want it to be beautiful for many generations to come!
Cory's common sense comment on the masks and covid was SPOT ON!!! Keep up the great video content!
Might have a different view if you watched a love one struggle to breathe because masks weren’t worn.
Pretty insensitive comment for those who suffered and lost loved ones from covid. Cory should keep those opinions to himself.
@@Elizabeth-rq1vinope, because masks did nothing but help the criminals conceal their identity, which was by design

It was nice hearing the national anthem. You don't hear it enough nowadays👍🇺🇲
One of our favorite parts of the Lippert Getaway - Pledge of Allegiance and National Anthem. It is also very special that they have used the same American flag for the Opening Ceremonies for the last 3 years!
Very inspiring content! Keep our land beautiful 🤗

All I could think was, "Keep you heads, HANDS, ARMS and legs inside the cars at all times." My favorite TH-camr broke his hand in one of those side by sides.
Yikes! That would hurt! Definitely keeping all limbs inside when Corey is at the wheel! 😉
My father always said” Leave it better than you found it.” A good phrase to live by.
In my area, CA just opened up more BLM land.
Couldn’t agree more! I’m sick and tired of seeing our land being shut down
They may word it as they please. Who are you to tell anyone what to say or not say?
@@t.l.robinson2162 100% correct, they can word it as they please and perhaps I could have also worded my comment better, but the point of the comment stands. People are getting tired of being punished for another's bad behavior.
I actually thought the suggestion was worthy. I think Today is Someday would agree and take it under consideration. @@t.l.robinson2162

Stretch the shoulder out before skipping those rocks . I tore my rotator cuff throwing a football to my son, Its tough getting old . 😂

Invaluable experience for your kids!
They are so far behind in their videos...people like to see things that are not to far behind..
What a rally! Grear seRV projects.
@@FindingOurSomeday it's always a pleasure, I hope my comment didn't degrade Corey in any way, it wasn't intended too.
It’s a good goal 😊
I normally can't watch people four wheeling and camping because I live where the tourist won't stay on the trails and throw their beer bottles at rocks. But I didn't hate ya'll at all ! 😅
That’s sounds like a compliment, I’ll take it 😂
There would be unprecedented pushback on this. The federal government is far far too big and beyond their britches, and they do not have this power of people. They will push it though.
So go after the people ruining it for those who want to enjoy it. Also, BLM land isn't just for people. Wildlife is being impacted by the surge of users.
