Darkness Essence I do. I've a good group of friends; it's more a lingering system of depression that I've been getting over than anything. But definitely fair advice for others!
ToastyPillowsack You probably heard this before, but I'll say it anyway: seeing a good therapist helps a lot with depression. At worst, you'll be out of a couple of dollars, at best, you'll feel considerably better for the rest of your life.
Darkness Essence Oh yes, for sure! I've been getting better; I'm actually at a visit with my therapist every other week now, and eventually I will be at "as-needed". Thanks for your understanding though man. It's a shame how there still isn't enough knowledge or awareness about mental health, but that too seems to be changing for the better. :)
Adriana Mullens funny I remember this when I was going through withdrawals and here it is again during a hard time of my life. It’s not helping my depression btw haha just making me more sure of a broken heart.
This entire album... perfection. It's not as catchy on the surface as Satori but its sinking into my soul in a whole different way. Especially the bridge on this song, wow.
+Alex Wingrave I don't understand how this is not mainstream. This is fairly good evidence that the mainstream is guided meticulously by greedy people who seek to undermine the enlightenment of the hoi polloi.
+Agronox DT dude, most pop or mainstream rock/rap/etc music is the same as annual horror flicks, they're just something that's just so much more appealing to a wide fucking audience. Yeah this music is fantastic, but it's way too deep for someone other than people already interested in this kind of music, but then again some pop artists slip in "messages" in their songs and suddenly they're the best thing ever, the industry just works in mysterious ways. Where talentless hacks rack in millions while talented artists have to quit their dreams of making music because they can't feed their family doing what they're passionate about.
@@Dwesk wait, what's too deep? This sounds like a Weeknd song to me (hence, I cannot like it for real), it's got a mainstream sound to it (not sure if this band always sounds like that tho, and maybe/clearly it's got elements that keep it from becoming truly mainstream). So I actually see what the other guy meant, it could easily be extremely popular under some circumstances, I guess. It's just not among the trending stuff tho, which would make it spread like a disease, basically. There are artists about which the same cannot be said btw. I too am attracted to alternative kinds of music the most, and many -but not all of those- songs got lyrics that express and reflect on certain serious feelings and deeper thoughts, fears, insecurities, etc but I'm not sure I'd call them "way too deep" exactly, and just look down on everyone who doesn't listen to what I may or may not deem the deepest stuff, thinking they're all shallow and stupid. I get what you mean, for some of them it's most likely true and they *are* shallow and stupid, but it's not always relevant to the music they listen to. I think what makes ppl listen to more mainstream (")artists("), besides the obvious fact that they don't resist but instead follow the charts music for the sake of acceptance and staying "relevant"/updated/in fashion, and that certain genres get promoted way more (not only to do keep ppl dumbed down but because they simply sell quicker and bring in more money to them due to the majority of ppl being inclined to consume things that are trending - it really is a vicious cycle I think), is just, to put it simply, a different approach to the "deep" (or actually shallow) insecurities and feelings that those ppl feel; some listen to Linkin Park, others to Fiona Apple or Pink, or classical, traditional music. People got different personalities and tastes, some have a broad range of taste and invest time to search for various artists from different genres, others like very specific stuff and don't "waste" time to discover newer or different music (also because they're closeminded, or cling to their old favorites too much), others care about the lyrics too while others don't really mind what a song says and care only about the feel of the song and its catchiness... others tolerate high pitched voices and/or screams, or certain instruments and effects, others don't... you get the idea. Different personalities. Is there a reason to belittle others to feel superior? p.s. so many bands/singers-songwriters try to appeal to specific target groups on purpose instead of being themselves, writing for themselves, and about personal stuff that really mean something to them (and others who can relate), and cash in on sounding patriotic, mean, nihilistic, insincerely depressing/melancholic/deep, happy, sexy, etc. Whatever sells. Everything can sell. I'd complain more about them posers than the ppl who end up liking a certain sound and style. For example, I always liked 30stM, and it turned out they were faking their initial style. And they're not the only ones who changed way too much. Speaking of examples, Radiohead, or several classic rock bands, are good ones for showing that something deeper can be rather mainstream. But of course more people will prefer the shallow, overly happy/ feel good stuff and whatever is trending (in their circles at least). Whatever most ppl choose, they choose it to belong, usually. Relatively few ppl (afaik) spend years searching actively and choose something because it *truly* expresses them. Sadly, that's how the majority of humans operates... peer pressure and all. So, I don't disagree so much on the sentiment, I suppose xD I'm just saying that one isn't deeper than the next just because of the music they choose, tho your favorite music does show part of your personality, usually. Oh, then there are those who aren't so passionate about music...
Maybe I'm just meant to be alone and this is the world telling me so. Used to have some faith in fate, now it's something I can't shake. Tell me is it true that thing they say: good things come to those who wait. But while I'm collecting dust, all the good ones get swept up. This pierces through me. Listen to Playing Catch With .22 with this song in mind.
Such an outstanding album. I've had it on repeat for the last couple of days. I think this is my favourite song... The contrast between the first part and the second "maybe I'm just meant to be alone" is pure genius, especially when the two vocals overlap.
Each song that Brent sings is heavenly and is so nice to hear after a long day. Also the i the mighty fan base is really amazing. I will buy any album they release.
A new favorite from one of the best albums I've heard in a LONG time. Perfection. Just found out about this band a few days ago - I'm still thankful I did.
Johnny Bravo They've already told you but I really recommend it, the album shows many new sides to his talent and the lyrics are different but very well thought out. Enjoy
this song speaks to me because i have been single for 99.99999999999% of my life, while i see all of these girls that i feel could potentially be the right ones get swept away by a bunch of assholes who will cheat on them and leave them :/
Fun fact: If you are 25 years old, and have been single for "99.99999999999%" of your life, then you have only been in a relationship for a total of 78.9 nanoseconds... Okay, maybe that wasn't so fun. :/
+Glassjaw 311 Karma was amazing, when it first came out and I heard The Dreamer for the first time omg yes. Connector is amazing but in a different way, and I just never got into Satori quite as much idk why so yes I agree.
"Maybe I'm just meant to be alone."
How I feel all the time.
Yeah same here I the mighty really out done themselves with this track
I'm 100% sure if you put in the effort, you won't be alone anymore
Darkness Essence I do. I've a good group of friends; it's more a lingering system of depression that I've been getting over than anything.
But definitely fair advice for others!

can't tell if this band has been helping me with this stump of depression, or making it worse-regardless im still listening.
you know they help
this.
Adriana Mullens funny I remember this when I was going through withdrawals and here it is again during a hard time of my life. It’s not helping my depression btw haha just making me more sure of a broken heart.
Adriana Mullens art is art.
I feel attacked by this 😂
"If it isn't real enough, it's not love lost, it was never found" losing my mind over this line
This entire album... perfection. It's not as catchy on the surface as Satori but its sinking into my soul in a whole different way. Especially the bridge on this song, wow.
Alex Wingrave i can already sing the bridge... such a tongue twister!

+Dwėsk It's so sad but true :(

The ending resonates so much with me, it's almost ridiculous.
The bridge is stunning. Brent totally killed it.
This song used to hit pretty close to home, but right now it's dead on.... But all at once it was shattered....
Loving all of the synth on this record. It takes the songs to the next level.
Not only is this my favorite song on the album, it is one of my favorites ever.
It literally feels like this song was written about my life.
Such an outstanding album. I've had it on repeat for the last couple of days. I think this is my favourite song... The contrast between the first part and the second "maybe I'm just meant to be alone" is pure genius, especially when the two vocals overlap.
This song speaks to me on a spiritual level...
Each song that Brent sings is heavenly and is so nice to hear after a long day. Also the i the mighty fan base is really amazing. I will buy any album they release.

My personal favorite on this album, although all the songs are excellent
beautiful m8
Love it!!
This album is so underrated
Brent Walsh is a BRILLIANT singer/songwriter.
This album is influenced by 3 things mainly I'd say: Brent's solo project, Coheed & Cambria and pure genious.
Casey Mahaffey What's his solo project called?
Johnny Bravo Brent Walsh. His solo album is titled 7, I believe cause it took him 7 years to create it.
Johnny Bravo They've already told you but I really recommend it, the album shows many new sides to his talent and the lyrics are different but very well thought out. Enjoy
Thanks guys, it sounds pretty good so far!
please do the tour at Malaysia!
lyrics actually are explaining my life, what is this
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

Man, this song really does "Speak to me"... (Drops mic and walks away)

KoistOG Pretty sure it's Sierra Kusterbeck, but I could be wrong.
Jason Cox Hmm, could be!
Jason Cox thanks man
Jason Cox what makes you so sure?
Here I am again...
Sierra :')
Lol this chorus makes me think of the 80s
Same. I love it.
this song speaks to me because i have been single for 99.99999999999% of my life, while i see all of these girls that i feel could potentially be the right ones get swept away by a bunch of assholes who will cheat on them and leave them :/
those girls aren't good enough for you.
Fun fact: If you are 25 years old, and have been single for "99.99999999999%" of your life, then you have only been in a relationship for a total of 78.9 nanoseconds... Okay, maybe that wasn't so fun. :/

1. Karma Never Sleeps
2. Connector
3. Satori
You all agree? Why or why not?
+Glassjaw 311 Karma was amazing, when it first came out and I heard The Dreamer for the first time omg yes. Connector is amazing but in a different way, and I just never got into Satori quite as much idk why so yes I agree.

1. We Speak
