You don't show the clear cover being removed to access terminals. I done a quick run down before doing install, the clear cover over the terminals is very very difficult to remove, its extremely tight around socket going to the charging lead. Is this correct or am I missing something?

Could you please share with us 3 phase cable and fuse specification if for dual user.

Assuming your general fuse is 40A (cable from the street), what if the charger uses 32A (Hyundai Kona) and you draw more than 8A in the house (oven + dryer, ..).
How is the current limited to avoid the 40A breaking? Is it based on voltage drop or ... ?

Hi Alex, the current is limited by the max current settings on the charging station and the charging cable used. In this case, it could be smart to limit the Elvi to 25A, for example, to prevent overcurrent on the house. Note that a certified electrician can make a proper local assessment on the amount of power that can be provide for EV charging in combination with other equipment in the house. :)

EVBox so there is no smart check and limit like the zappi smart ev. I want to be able to charge at max ac charger rate supported by the kona, which is 32A. I guess charging during the night will prevent the main fuse to blow as I won't use other appliances. I can also limit the current in the kona in case i would charge during the day and sky is not sunny.
Note: I'm an electric engineer so I can assess ^^

We're aware of the value behind what you've explained (known also as dynamic load balancing) and are working on a solution that enables smarter communication between your home and your charging station!

EVBox Cool. Will Engie Belgium proposes the solution this year? I've heard that Engie own evbox.

That's correct, we were acquired by ENGIE in 2017. In terms of our solution, it's in progress and the timeline of rollout in individual countries is not yet specified. Thanks for your interest!
