It hardly looks like he's moving first phase. He mostly just stretches and tilts. The original and + version pixel art made him look more harrowing with his eyes compared to this version. The graphical fidelity is so low on the last phase that the pixel versions look more terrifying than the red blobs we get in this version.
Wow that 3d looks abysmal. It somehow looks more static than the original sprites, despite being in one of the more easier medias to animate extra movement in. Like barely anything changes, the textures are all blurry and hard to make out, it's just bad
The upsetting part here is the lack of sharp outlines and the absence of the high color saturation really ruins everything they've could've done with the model. It could be due to how the 3DS rendered it, but I'd like to believe it was more of an art direction than software limitations.
look what they did to him dawg 😭😭😭😭
it's fucked up...
absolutely decimated... his first phase's face looks like a just born kitten
@@takbudder He does, good lord.

He looks and moves like a gummy bear :((((((((((
Ballos is so unsettling with that creepy smile
Ballos was inspired by Mozgus which is a character in Berserk
