I absolutely love my MoJack HDL 500. I haven't taken the deck off to clean it and change the blades in three years so far and counting. Some mowers have very heavy decks and can be a bitch removing and reinstalling them. The MoJack will lift the tractor in a minute up and a minute down. Who wouldn't love that.
Great review. Man. Since you posted his video 3 years ago those things have doubled in price. Home Depot has them today (7/16/23) for $379.00! I'm still going to purchase one though. I had a new Cub Cadet ZT1 50 inch deck delivered 4 weeks ago. I've got 2 herniated discs and just the tiny bit of lifting I had to do on the front end, to roll my new ZT1 mower off the pallet it was delivered on inflammed those discs! That was 4 weeks ago and my discs are still in pain. So I will be purchasing this Mojack HDL 550 soon. Thanks again for your review.
Thanks for this video; helped me out. Cost is not $240 but well worth it. Yes Sir, already figured out it will work on my boat and my 10 1/2 foot utility trailer. Very versatile and a tool many of us need.
Steve that jack is perfect to work on the tractor. A great price for such a handy jack. Makes getting at the tractor much easier. I just got a new floor jack for my car this morning from Canadian Tire. My old one was about 30 years old and it twisted last fall when I changed the tires on my father's car. So much easier to use than those awful scissor jacks that come with cars......Take care, Bluefin
Great features. Easy to use, and stores w/o taking up much room. No more dropping and dragging out the deck to sharpen blades. And more room to get to the rear drive belt and pulleys. My back feels better already. I can hardly wait for my local H.D.( Waldorf, Md- hint hint) to put it on sale. $150 is a good deal. Thanks for the video.
Nice video .... esp when you measured the lift height. I wasn't sure if the height specs on these lifts was at the deck or at the wheel Thanks to your vid I now know its at the wheel Very helpful and clear explanations. Cheers

$150 is a steal! I think they'd be handy for a lot of things. I'd be tempted to replace the jack with an air jack. Gonna have the best equipped cottage around
The boys will want an atv most likely and when you get old emma will buy you a lawn tractor to cut the grass so in about five years at most this will be an awesome addition to the shop :)
I bought one of those three years ago when I replaced my Simplicity Conquest (that backfired and burnt to the ground. Too bad it was a great tractor) with a Simplicity Champion XT Zero Turn. The bottle was faulty (turned out the O ring wasn't sitting properly)and took forever to lift the deck so Mojack sent me a new bottle. It also seems to take forever to lift. I can literally spend 15 minutes pumping it to get to the second setting. I'm shocked at how fast your lift works so I'm wondering if I should get a new bottle with higher specs.

I saw a video where the mechanic temporarily placed the mower rubber wheel chocks behind the lift's wheels to keep it in place while diving on. Once on, he moved the chocks to the mower's back wheels.
I just returned mine today for that very reason. Ordered a MoJack model that has removable Clevis Pin Bolts instead of the silly oversized bar on the wheel pads.
This Jack costs 449.00 Canadian (approx 350.00 USD) at Home Depot. Not sure if it's because of the recession. Bought it because I need to frequently clean the deck of my Husqvarna TS248 XD.
Hi, I just bought a Husqvarna TS 248XD. What model jack did you get, the 500? How does it work on the Husqvarna. My manual says the TS 248 XD tractor weight 610 lbs, over the 500 lb capacity of the MoJack 500, of course one is not lifting the whole tractor on the jack just the front end.
