It's so apparent that you've literally never seen the show. Jojo Siwa and Zendaya were on the show and they are also professional dancers. Yes she is a professional dancer but there are so many different types of dance, For example if you are a ballet dancer it does not mean that you'll be good at hip hop or ball room. Charli is a dancer but this type of dances are new to her and she said so herself.

Charli isn’t a professional ballroom dancer. There’s a difference! She has to learn the different styles of dance just like everyone else. She may also have a more natural ability to learn each dance, but it’s still completely new to her. So yes, it is fair.
