We have almost eliminated fast food , only on a special occasion we go out to eat and most fast food is only during travel . I pack stuff to eat also to help cut down cost .
I don't go out for coffee often (usually just when traveling) but it is shocking how expensive it can be! I've paid upwards of $7 for a coffee when making it at home costs like 50 cents. I also don't wash clothes every time I wear them. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you for the tips. And with laundry detergent, there is a measuring cup inside the top and it shows 1,2, 3, and 4. I was wasting laundry detergent til someone pointed the little cup out. Now I don't use as much. But again, great tips. Love the video. ❤
I started making my own coffee at home months ago! We have a local chain down here in South Louisiana I adore and I was going 3-4 times a week during my 7 night rotation. I realized what I was spending equaled a pound of good coffee, a bottle of my favorite creamer, a bottle of Torani syrup and a 4 pack of protein shakes so i could make my favorite cold brew then turn it into a "Proffee" :)
Love your tip about not washing clothing that isn’t truly dirty! I work in custom clothing for men and we see clients destroy clothing in short periods of time by over washing and dry cleaning. With my professional work clothes, I wear a few times before washing unless I sweat in them. It prevents fading, saves you money on water and laundry supplies, and keeps you from having to replace pieces sooner.
I just spoke to a washer repair guy who told me that you only need 2 Tbsp of detergent for a full load! I have an extra scoop from my protein powder, and I measured it, and it is 2 Tbsp! I am going to use that scoop for laundry from now on!
Hey there, Abby. This might sound counterintuitive or odd, but, dentists will tell you that it’s not necessary to use a lot of toothpaste on your toothbrush. The commercials show a toothbrush loaded with toothpaste because they want you to buy a lot of toothpaste. All you need is half as much as the commercials show or less. Also, because I use mouthwash, that helps with getting your teeth and your mouth clean. You don’t need a lot of mouthwash either. Just brush and gargle longer. Thanks for sharing your moneysaving tips and hacks!
My husband built me a clothes line last year and it has already paid for itself. I love hanging the clothes out on the line. It gets me outside more and it's so fulfilling knowing I'm saving money for my family with very little extra effort.
I meal prep/batch cook on Sundays. Proud to say I've bought lunch maybe 10 times in the past 4 yrs. I eat the same food all week but it's food & I'm not spending money.
I bought the smallest bottle of laundry detergent at Dollar Tree, just to have the tiny cover/top/cup. I use that now with my regular brand detergent. I used the Dollar Tree soap for rugs cuz it makes me itch tho. lol
Abby you can also learn about home canning (pressure and water bath canning) to preserve some of your garden bounty. Having canned proteins, potatoes, and vegetables on your shelf will also help you get meals on the table faster. Love your hair!
Another tip is consigning. You can consign your children’s and your clothes/ toys. Then use store credit to purchase items you need. Even better put it in the bank and save! Thank you for all your helpful tips love watching your channel!!!❤
I work from home.. don’t sweat or go outside everyday.. I wear everything a few times before washing it (besides under wear) cause sitting in a chair in front of a computer in no way makes them dirty haha Summertime is a little different cause I go in the garden more and sweat more so wash more often
I was just about to type in “budgeting” into TH-cam for more ways to save and your video popped up before I even typed it in! How awesome! Thanks for the video. ❤️❤️
I use every last tip you just said. Another tip I do for my kids clothes I buy second hand then when they out grow then I consign take that money and buy more for back to school and Christmas. I do hang out all my clothes only using the dryer about 10 times a year. Consider a clothes swap with a friend or family member as well. My friend has an older daughter so she gives to my daughter then when she out grows they go back to my friend for her neice. When my son was small there was a three person clothes swap as well but now they are all about the same size.
I never have liked coffee or tea. For better or worse 99% of what I drink is diet soda. At least the 4 or 5 daily I consume don't have the sugar in them that the regular soda used to have before I switched. I figure if diabetics can drink it I should be ok on the sugar aspect of it. Doing my best to avoid diabetes and so far so good! My doctor said to keep doing what I've been doing and I can do that! My very best to you and yours!!! Take care!
Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. That stream brewer is a great idea to get instead of a coffee maker. I’m not willing to buy a Starbucks coffee unless it’s half off. I love thrifting and buying things that I need from thrift stores. ❤ One thing I could do to help me spend less is pay everything in cash except for my bills that would save so much money. 😮I don’t use that much softener I just half it and I use one laundry pod. I wear my clothes for two days and then put them in the laundry basket.
Hey, Abby. I love your videos and I love that coffee pot. Going to get me one. You have a beautiful family. I've been watching for years but first time commenting. 😊
Great tips!! I’m gonna look into that coffee maker. We’re about to move farther from work to a smaller place that’s less than half of rent what we’re paying now so we can save more for a house. Dreading it, but excited to save $$ 😊
Hi Abby. Love the new hair cut & do. It is very flattering. It makes you look super young & no way, a mom of 4!😊 I agree on 2nd hand purchases. especially when your kids are small & growing fast. Also getting only what you need rather than buying impulsively!
I already don’t do this stuff and I shop at Goodwill only for clothing..good advice, but what can you do when you already implement these things and pinch Pennie’s?
Your electricity is free at night?!?! 🙀 lord this would save me so much money. We have a time of day rate and after 7pm electricity is considerably cheaper which does help since we sleep with it on 67 at night in the summer. I think paying with cash might actually be something I try because I think that will really hold me accountable.
Thanks for the super helpful tips! I just looked into our power company and they also have a program so I am definitely looking into it! Love your videos!!
If you compare to getting coffee out at $7 a pop five times a week… this will pay for itself within two months. Sometimes you need to start making small changes. If drinking from a cool steam brewer helps someone begin a more frugal journey than it is saving money. It’s a start. A regular coffee maker is $15 , but doesn’t taste amazing. Let’s be honest. That’s what I have . lol . It is saving me money, but it does make me long for Starbucks and drinks from other fancy coffee shops.
I sure DO WISH I COULD DRY MY CLOTHES OUTSIDE BUT DUE TO POLLEN AND OTHER ALLERGENS GETTING INTO THE FABRICS I CANT DO THIS ONE,, I CANT SLEEP IN POLLEN FILLED CHOTHES AND BLANKETS AND SHEETS UNFORTUNATELY
Grounds, not grinds. 😉 I grabbed some take out for dinner last night for just myself. I got a sandwich, a small fry and a large shake. SIXTEEN DOLLARS! I was flabbergasted. Eat at home. Much cheaper!
Video Editing is too low 👎👎👎👎 Edit the video in a good style. Add nice b-roll animation when you are speaking or explaining something. This will increase visualization. Put proper subtitles, effects, transitions, and colors in the video. Insert the B-Roll (footage and animation) very well because it is absolutely low in your video. Do all this and then see how the video doesn't turn out good.🥔
Feel free not to watch. Plenty of us love her. As she gets more money or time maybe she will be able to incorporate some of that into her videos. Personally, I don’t feel she needs to do anything different. To me it’s like watching a friend talk to me from her home. I’m not turned off by her editing or lack of perfect video aesthetics. I LOVE HER CHANNEL as is!!! Who knows maybe if she did all those things you all are wanting her to do… I might not want to watch it as much. She is down to earth and awesome and always has content that is helpful, uplifting and encouraging. And I like the bits that aren’t perfect. It adds interest.
I bought a pair of Jean's at goodwill, there was a 20.00 bill in the pocket, so it was a win win for me
Nice!! I bought a purse for 1.00 at a yard sale and it had a 20.00 in the inside pocket!!

I agree with you especially re washing clothes. They can be hung up & aired instead
Thank you for the tips. And with laundry detergent, there is a measuring cup inside the top and it shows 1,2, 3, and 4. I was wasting laundry detergent til someone pointed the little cup out. Now I don't use as much. But again, great tips. Love the video. ❤

Your hair length is perfect for you!!
I was going to say that!

Thank you Abby 4 all U Do. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family
Eating out in California is ridiculous. My kids asked for Jack in the box, and for 2 meals, I paid $29 😅
I do the same thing with my jeans. I also will press the wrinkles out so they look even fresher.

Wonderful ideas. Thank you!
Encouragement ❤
That coffee pot reminds me of the coffee percolator I grew up with. Had a glass know that you could watch coffee perk. Old things return😊
I was just going to say, that’s a percolator.

Some good tips, especially all the different reasons for a garden. Louie just loves the camera, he's a 🌟. 😊🐈
Sweetie not half the detergent, try two tbsps they come out just as clean and smelling fresh!! Half a cup is way to much.
I LOVE Loft too!!
and btw your hair looks gorgeous!!

Your hair looks great!
Thanks 😁 Beautiful cat ❤
I use a bottle of soap for laundry two year one tablespoon for clothes
I love the hair style & color, Abby !! It looks great on you !!
Your hair looks so cute like that!!
Great tips!! I’m gonna look into that coffee maker. We’re about to move farther from work to a smaller place that’s less than half of rent what we’re paying now so we can save more for a house. Dreading it, but excited to save $$ 😊

I’ve never seen a steam brewer!! We just have a hot water kettle one and we’ve had it for over a year now and we also use cafe bastelo espresso
Great tips as always 🤗
Can't wait 😊
❤️❤️❤️
Hello beautiful kitty!! 🎉❤
I already don’t do this stuff and I shop at Goodwill only for clothing..good advice, but what can you do when you already implement these things and pinch Pennie’s?
Unfortunately, where we live in the electricity is the same no matter when you use it😢

I mean…the coffee make is $200…not the most economical
A French press is my favorite...cheap, small, and easy to clean.

@@imaamericangirl1406 ha! True point 😂
Your arms look so strong! Luv ur hair. Cut Vera the same and take some pics. :)
Is the steam brewer much different from a peculator? My husband recently got a electric percolator and he loves it.
Your cat is adorable
Good video. Btw ur looking great!!
So know what you're talking about ---especially for my grandkids 😉
Eclipse challenge!!!
Good tips
Hi from Norway. Like your videos.
Hello there!
Thank you!
The kitty tail 😂
I sure DO WISH I COULD DRY MY CLOTHES OUTSIDE BUT DUE TO POLLEN AND OTHER ALLERGENS GETTING INTO THE FABRICS I CANT DO THIS ONE,, I CANT SLEEP IN POLLEN FILLED CHOTHES AND BLANKETS AND SHEETS UNFORTUNATELY
I feel ya! I have a foldable clothes drying rack but usually use it inside.
Ironic...shes spruiking this coffee pot....you wont see her use it again....this purely is for kickbacks....dont get sucked in to it....
I still spend the cash😅
❤
Grounds, not grinds. 😉

Beautiful Kitty Meow Meow 😺
Look if you only wore it for an hr and you fart it’s going in the dirty bin there’s poop particles when you fart 😅😂
You really needed to say this? Sweetie, not everything that pops in your head to comment is worthy of sharing. TMI

If someone says that video editing should be enhanced then I also vote "yes" 🍎
No, only they should take this decision. 🍆
@AzenAlart yes, this part feels mediocre/rushed :(
