Seen Damien when he was 15 in a session, i said to a friend " watch this fellow, hel be outstanding", for me seeing him these days he is probably he most gifted ever to play it.

'Sounds wonderful boys! I'm glad to see Damien has kept-up his playing; it's gotten *even better!!* The first time I saw Damien play was here on TH-cam quite a few years ago. He had long, black hair, and was a bit younger. It's great to see he stuck with it and now has a guitarist and a bassist to accompany his incredible melodeon playing.
*From across the pond here in the Irish-friendly city of Boston, I wish you all the best luck, and a Happy Saint Patrick's Day!*

Could anyone point me in the proper direction to buy a CD of Damien and his band? *In a world overflowing with terribly mediocre music, this music is definitely worth owning!* Give us a link and I'll be glad to support the band & buy a record! I'd love to hear this on my home stereo, and without all the audio compression of TH-cam. Cheers!

Patrick Howard Awesome! Thank you for sharing with me, as I'm across the pond here in the suburbs of Boston, and the Irish music scene--while not dead--is definitely lacking in knowledge of what's going on in "the old country" (as we call it). I'll definitely be picking up that record, and glad to know the funds will support Damien and his bandmates! Best Regards to ya!

Brandon Alan there’s no lack of knowledge of this music in Boston. If you go to sessions you’d find that out quick. Still plenty of Irish Americans-and Irish immigrants in Boston.

nice to see a great Irish player on the Cajun accordion and keeping the dry tuning typical of cajun accordions .
    - made by Marc savoy - Eunice , Louisiana . great maker and also a great player himself .

Last year I was fortunate to acquire a Marc Savoy box almost identical to Damien's. Besides the beautiful look and sound, the response of the bellows is brilliant.

    ps:
I met Donnough at a concert in Liverpool in 2013 with Scanlon agus Uí Chinnéide.
    Such a cool guitarist ^^
Hope to see him again, more with a dance tune player.
Who does he play with at the moment?
    Mary Custy?
I reckon him and Siobhan Peoples would rock too :)
