Now thats very impressive and in the time frame of 2 hours not bad at all my mini split takes about 3hrs on a really hot day to fully cool the room it truly shows how the old models were superior
that is very impressive how that older Carrier cooled that big room in H1 :45 that just shows how well a 35 yearold Window unit out preform a new efficient window unit that can Ice up on low cool with electronic crap that can give out as thay get older
Man they just don't make appliances like they use to. Would be cool to see someone doing it right like they use to and come out with a new standard of window air cons made here in the USA. Also do the 220 units really blow that cold? Had no idea. Seems like the 15k 120v units max out around 30-40 degrees. Love the vids!
Not all THAT cold because this is a very powerful unit, but they do tend to put out colder and dryer air (especially with a drain unplugged to RELEASE the condensate).
They are single pane with aluminum frame. I'm unsure of the date the addition was put on, but they've definitely got some age to them. I'm keeping them, but the thermal properties are awful. On a windy day, it doesn't make much difference if they're open or closed!
@@JordanU Ah okay gotcha. Maybe some time in the future if it is in the budget, change them to double-pane. I'm sure the room will be much better when that happens! All your call though if/when you want to do it of course
That's why i love vintages air conditioners because they are so efficient do theirs job very good too shame they don't make it like they used to.
Nothing beats a vintage unit! This is solid proof right here! I enjoyed the video bro!
Impressive for sure.

Quite impressive indeed, it’s truly a shame they banned R-22. Thanks for sharing

OK
Hey Jordan, are those windows single or double pane? I figure the latter wouldn't fog up that much.
