Thank you for showing that the clip is removable without losing any other functionality. I couldn't find any info on that their website or on any other review.
With a lifetime warranty and service like that - I would order from them over any other manufacturer assuming their price is reasonable relatively speaking. Well done RIDGE !
Ridge warranty is second to none. I had a stripped screw in my new forged carbon fiber wallet and they sent me a brand new one and let me keep the old one. I got the screw out and it's perfect and still said I could keep it.
That’s pretty cool that it’s super easy to redeem the warranty. I always thought lifetime would mean that it has to be a very specific problem or they made it super hard to figure out how to do it
Mine broke in the exact same way, I'm really glad it did not break while I was on my motorcycle! I've got a new one coming but I really hope this isn't a common occurrence.. when mine broke it straight just fell off of my belt loop.
Hi did you have any problems with the key case once you took off the belt clip? I reached out to Ridge about taking the clip off. They said it should stay attached as it helps provide tension on keycase to hold your keys. I really would like to take it off. Thanks for the review.
I think you could get a little aluminum bent piece of metal, poke two holes in it and screw that one in the place the rubber used to be, might be more secure
My Ridge key case lasted 3 months the cheap screw broke rendering it useless. Did the warranty claim and they claimed they sent a new one. Never got it. The claims dept stopped responding after letting them know I never received a replacement. Not worth it for me.
Bought the carbon fiber one last march and it broke. The small curve piece at the end w/the pin in it fell out. So I reached out and I had a new one within the week
The Ridge Key case is very expensive so I really expect them to go above and beyond on the warranty. I expect them to be like Zippo and fix my wallet or keychain 30 years from now if things are not working right.
If it rips again they will replace it again, mine broke in the exact same way and they were quick to replace it. I asked them that question and they said if it happened again they would send me a new one.
I agree, that's why I was glad I found the keysmart version...that being said, it us impressive they stood by their product. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

Bought mine today. I was so reluctant bc of the price, but seeing this helped put my wallet at ease. Thanks!

Put some locktite blue on the threads of the screws
How long did you have it before that rubber piece broke off? And has the new one held up over time?
i'm sure if you put some wholes in the broken one it could easily be fixed if you have a drill to do that.

That's frustrating. Thanks for sharing your experience. 😃 👍

I was impressed as well. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
What colour is the keycase? Is that gunmetal or royal black?
Mine is gunmetal (gray) thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
where can i find the order number? i cant find it in my emails
Did you order it from Ridge directly or from Amazon?
I believe the king is the keybar... But their price is in another league.
I've heard of key bar. I may need to try one out. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
The keybar is around the same price as the ridge key case!
how about a key chain for muti lock keys
What happens if it rips again?

It looks like you have too many keys on it ?
Think i will still stick to my Keybar
Lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍 🙂
I’d buy one for under $50 but current pricing is too high for what this product is and does.
