‘द केरल स्टोरी’ की कहानी केरल की तीन महिलाओं पर बेस्ड है जिनका ब्रेन वॉश कर धर्म परिवर्तन कराया जाता है और कथित तौर पर वे आतंकी संगठन आईएसआईएस में शामिल हो जाती हैं. बता दें कि फिल्म का ट्रेलर रिलीज होने के बाद से ही ये विवादों में आ गई थी. एक समुदाय विशेष ने फिल्म पर आपत्ति जताई थी. यहां तक कि फिल्म की रिलीज की रोक की मांग वाली याचिका भी जमीयत उलेमा ए हिंद ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट में दायर की थी. हालांकि सर्वोच्च अदालत ने याचिका पर विचार से ही इंकार कर दिया था. फलिहाल फिल्म तमाम विवादों के बीच सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज हो चुकी है और इसे ऑडियंस का प्यार मिल रहा है.

Same conversion done by Cristian I have witnessed. My best friend and benchmate became Cristian and married to converted Cristian. She used to take me to prayers to her Cristian friend's home, she didn't force me, but tried to convince me. But I was athiest kind of and I am animal lover, and as per bible animals does not have soul. Ulta I tried to convince them that how pure soul animals are, they are innocent, the way we feel the pain they also feel it.
