Love my Mooncool Tk1 folding trike! Your reviews helped my decide on this model we purchased two for myself and hubby for Christmas. Thank you for all your giving.
I'm going to try out the TK-1. I was in a severe bike accident back in Sept. and nearly lost my life after we believe, a car hit me. I am able to ride an e-bike, however and own one like my old one now, a fat-tire cruiser. I have 500 miles on the new cruiser bike. Thank you so much for your work on the MoonCool comparisons. This video was very helpful!
Your very welcome. Sorry to hear about your accident. If you decide to buy a Mooncool please use my link or the discount code. It shows Mooncool that my videos are helping.
I just bought a 3 month old MC350 for $650. I'm 70 and I'm recovering from being thrown by my 2 wheeled ebike. (I broke and dislocated my left elbow) I didn't even get it out of the parking lot where it was delivered before i had massive trouble. Luckily my bike shop was 3 blocks away on my way home. $50 more dollars to find out that a spacer piece in the front brake assembly was still in place and throwing everything off. It was fixed in under 2 hours and I cautiously returned home. I've put over 10 miles on it so far. I have difficulty walking any distance and the buses don't run on the weekends. I haven't told my 'kids 50,49. &43 ) yet about this purchase 😂
@@IMBruceECLECTIC Sorry. I realize just how blessed I am. Mooncool and I have really connected. I am very fortunate so many other companies have also trusted my honest reviews that they send me bikes and trikes.

I really appreciate your videos. You have given my wife and I a good idea as to which folding trike to go with. I was wondering if you could post a couple of measurements for me. I am looking at the heights from the ground to the spot on the handle bars where they fold down for storage. Not the handle bar heights like mooncool keeps sending me but from the ground to where they fold. As well as that height, could you possibly measure from the ground to the seat post without the seat installed. I am trying to see if the bike will fit in our Tahoe when we tow our trailer. Again, we really enjoy your videos and any help on these measurements would truly be helpful. Thank you
My husband surprised me with a moon cool 350! Just getting used to it and haven’t turned the electric feature back on yet because it really takes off quickly! I was hoping to use the electric feature only as an assist. Am am missing something? Just want to go when I need that extra power not all the time
Have you worked this out? I'm thinking of buying the MC 350, but I don't want to go 15mph, I just want a bit of help on inclines etc. so the answer to this question is exactly what I was hoping to find in these comments.
Hi Linda, I may be able to work that in just not too soon. I will tell you the 7 speed on the Easy transit is not as effective as the 7 speed on the Mooncool Fat 20. It does have a reverse function that is very nice. Even though the TK1 is a single speed, its a better option in my opinion.
Thanks for another great video and it’s nice and useful to see MoonCool’s 3 electric trikes in a comparison. I have the MC 350 and was pleased to see that even though it is less expensive, it doesn’t come up short compared to the TK1 Folding and TK1 Fat Tire. It’s also pretty flat where I live so hill climbing is not an issue. My MC 350 has the 10.4 Ah battery, but I still get around 20 miles throttle only. Again thanks.
Richard I subscribed, and I'm researching the Tk 1, where's a link for the aftermarket seat and mirrors? Buying mine July 5th 2024. Is TK 1 95 % assembled? How do I know I got the new parking Break, cruise control version? Thanks
Hire Richard, thank you for the great comparisons. Since I live in a hilly area I am most interested in the TKI but I have a recent disability and would prefer the seat with a back like your wife got. Can you please tell me where she got that seat? Thanks again.
My local bike shop is now selling the Moxwheel Trike!! It’s an awesome looking trike. I got to demo one in camo paint job. I can’t even find anything online about them. Comes in a lot of colors. Like the Scoria in a trike. Nicest trike I have seen and under $2k. Have you seen these?? I’m on the east Coast of Fl.

Was thinking of buying a new addmotor spytan .2 wheels in front 1 in back. But how do you explain all the negative reviews ive been reading in different forums about addmotor. Everything from very bad customer service to bad build quality, would like your experience opinion.
I know they have a history of bad customer service. So far I have had a good experience with them. The overall build quality is average, maybe a little better than average. I like the Citytri and also the M81 cargo bike. I did have to replace the sensor on the cargo bike once. But overall I was happy with both products. I will be getting the Spytan next month.
I am really interested in seeing reviews of the new Sixthreezero and Addmotor 2 front wheel trikes (they are NOT recumbants). Any chance you can review?
I had previously reached out to them and didn't get a reply. The trike looks great and I really like all the specs accept the very small battery. 10ah is just not enough, especially for a trike in my opinion. Now, you still may be able to go 20 miles or so, but I like to go 20 miles and more and would like to have plenty of battery when I am done. The advantage is that its a mid drive motor, which will help you get further on less energy. so that makes a difference. But, I have not tested one. I also like that its a 3 speed, meaning it should be comfortable pedaling at the higher speeds with no ghost pedaling. Definitely a lot to like about the trike. Price seems about average for what your getting.
The only time I spoke to Aventon was earlier last year when I was still new at ebikes. They told me my channel didn't look legit. Ha ha, I will probably never have an Aventon and that's okay.
Hello Richard: Need some help. I purchased the mooncool tk1 fat tire trike. Had it professional assembly. Did you have any of these problems: Handlebars are not stable, right brake not working at all, seats doesn't stay in place, and the back tires are wiggling don't know how else to describe it. I have tried to ride it for 2 days now. Don't feel safe on my trike now. Am just trying to find out if it's manufactured problems. Because the shop that assembled the trike says they assembly everything correctly. I know you do wonderful reviews and know more about these trikes I think then manufactured. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Diane N.
Wow, sure seems to me like it was not assembled correctly. I would take it back. You paid for it, they need to do it. If something is wrong I am sure Mooncool will take care of it. The handlebars just need to be tightened it sounds, as well as tighten up the set clamp. You can loosen the clamp, then slightly tighten the thumb screw on the opposite side. Then re clamp it. For the handel bars, there are multiple screws that need to be checked. The very top where the handle bars attach to the stem, the clamp that allows for height adjustment, folding them stem into the open position should reveal a bolt, then you have the screws on the lower part of the stem on the sides. All of these need to be properly tightened to prevent unwanted movement. All my trikes have rear tires that wobble just a little. Something about trikes that manufactures can't seem to make them perfectly straight. If you feel the wobble, its too much.
Good morning from California. Thank you so so much, Richard, for all that advice and information. Will reach out to both companies. Really love my mooncool trike. I just want to feel safe when i ride it. Because of your reviews and knowledge, 2 more family members are going to purchase ebikes. Thank you for your very thorough reviews. Have a great weekend. I'm seriously thinking of one of these Mooncool's. Before I get one I had to secure an ebike mechanic/technician. I lucked out living rural where there's no choice. LoL The only shop in town that doesn't sell this brand is nice enough to put it together for me anyways 🤞🏼 My past husband was a mechanic & used to make ebikes on the side for his friends out of regular bikes. This is why I know I need to secure a very competent mechanic/ technician before I buy anything or I'm sunk. I'm really looking to get a trike style bike but what I want to use it for is to go hunting, ride it into the woods and if I shoot a deer I would want to drag the deer out of the woods back to the truck with the bike . Now I know you do alot of reviews on these bikes could you recommend a model that has the kind of power that I need for dragong a deer or just doing some lite towing?
Hye David, I guess the unknown is the terrain. A trike can be unstable in a rough terrain that you might find in the woods so I am not sure how well it would work. You definitely want a 750w motor, but something with a high torque rating. TOrque is the power your looking for. Some of these etrikes are rated 55-75nm of torque, not enough for rough or hilly terrain for the woods. The Addmotor E310 has 90nm that is the highest i have seen so far.
