There seems to be this misconception that Airlines were made only by Valco (Supro/National). Wrong-o. Airline was the Montgomery Ward store's electronic department HOUSE BRAND (just like Sears Silvertone). I have owned Airlines that were Kays and Harmonys as well as Valcos (just like Sears Silvertone).

WJ R I dont think its worth a grand considering its made of fiberglass but you got to admit that the sound is very apropriate for folk/blues and the resonator is really noticable in the sound. Id honestly prefer this to most resonator guitars i find at stores because they sound more like a regular acoustic instead of that snarl-ey sound i wish they had.
