I had a good laugh when rev.solomon said he sometimes "worries" about the Kenyan guys who had an eye for Liz. I laughed so hard. I think you don't really mean that because there's nothing to worry about that now. You both are deeply in love and committed to each other now.
To me, you're a symbol of what a Christian marriage should be
I particularly liked your purity standards and keeping to them. This is one thing that is badly needed in this age and time.
I like how Mommy Ocampo ( Solomon's Mom) hurried your wedding, giving no room for those purity standards to be compromised. I'm already thinking to do that with our children when the time comes for them to get married. I don't mean the arranged marriage stuff, no, but no long courtship.

"Do you have any Chinese in you?" that is so funny Liz because I was thinking the same. Mix doesn't just show in complexion tones but also facial features. Also, the history of Kenya as far as I know there was a shipwreck of a Chinese Dynasty and after research and DNA tests, yes some Kenyans where found to have been related to that Chinese Dynasty. Yes, it is small traces but Chinese DNA has been discovered to be part of some Kenyans ancestry too. I to me I felt the same way looking at you. But true or not, you are a beautiful Kenyan woman.

@@weareocampo Sure. Yes, based on some DNA research there are a few Kenyans who show that they were mixed with some of that Dynasty. I'm a mixture but was surprised to discover that I have a drop of Chinese in me too! lol

My question is Pastor Liz vowed that Pastor Sol will never cook in his home. Has this held through the years? I found that it was hard for me to do although I do most of my own cooking, my husband cooks here and there
We answered this question in our reaction to our wedding vows video where we stayed that was more of an expectation vs reality vow. Though the times Rev Sol has stepped in the kitchen to cook can be counted on one hand

My husband never been bothered by his color coz he knows how special he is to our creator. Reverend Solomon, it is okay to comfort your wife, but don't apologize for other people's misgivings. Address it with them if possible. Reverend Liz, unfortunately, some of these people are just the way they are. As long as you know, there are more gracious Filipinos than the horrible ones, and so are more loving Kenyans than crazy ones, you will be fine. Hang around the gracious folks and project God's Love, and the Grace of the Lord will win them over if it is meant to be.
