Just imagine the hype if this was the day one content trailer
Yeah. No halo has ever had this amount of content on release. It should have had more. But it is disingenuous to think of a Halo with this much content on day one.
People wouldn't be hyped by this. People would be ashamed. This is literally not Halo lol. This is the closest you can get to "Halo 4" that you can get to Halo.
Edit: The gameplay isn't bad. What's bad is the focus, the playlists, what 'is' Halo, and what isn't. Everything showcased is Halo 4, or a "non competitive" Halo. Halo should be defined by Halo 1 - Halo 3, in 2001 - 2010, not Halo 4. The Community wanted Halo 4. The millions of other players wanted Halo. This isn't Halo. Husky Raid is not Halo. It's Halo 4, the CoD clone.
Halo is not a game filled with social playlists. Halo 2 had 4. Halo 3 had 6. Both of these had over 10 ranked playlists, focusing on skill to win, focusing on the importance of leveling up. Focused on teamwork or solo play to be better. Focused on knowing how and when to use weapons, knowing where on maps to be, knowing control, knowing call outs, and knowing the game. That is Halo.
This is Halo 4 put into the Halo Infinite engine.
A game engine the "halo community" only hates because it's too close to the classic Halo's feel.

I still think it's the smoothest, best of both worlds gameplay in Halo history. It manages to combine the classic feel while still providing those modern innovations that make shooters feel good to play😊
@@NASTAR01 For me its the whole f2p ecosystem, my spartan always feels limited, I'm not unlocking things I'd like to unlock. Heck, can't even pick my colours anymore. Also the lack of social features is pretty sad as well...
My spartan doesn't feel my own, and the game is not interactive enough, it's like it won't let me have fun
When they promised a 10 year life cycle for the game I never thought it meant it would take them 10 years to get their game feature complete

They still keep every previous battles pass, they do free battle passes too, they have weekly rewards, and can unlock stuff through the story. Wym? You can still look good by spending very little.

I feel like if I had this game I would legit be buying shit left and right because in four as a kid that was one of my favorite things, customizing Spartans and pretending the different custom jobs were different characters with different stories.

It has grifball. It's a custom game option.
base mode for grifball has been in the code for a while, they will probably release it with one of the final updates.
Pretty sure it's been held back because the hammer doesn't play well over online networking, so a whole hammer-centric mode would just expose that problem even worse.
Having a windup time between button press and swing action on the hammer was just asking for issues that would stack with networking problems.
When we get grifball later this year will you come back and admit this was just a weird projection on your part?
Grifball doesnt really work properly with Infinite's hammer. The gravity effect doesnt come into play in most cases where vehicles aren't involved, and the windup runs counter to the usual pacing of Grifball

It seems 343 can only hit one aspect amazingly each game, Halo 4 had a fantastic story, Halo 5 had a great multiplayer (after a year, with actaul live service) and Infinite has the best core gameplay out of all Halo games

In halo 4 people complained about the multiplayer being bad, halo 5 then had an amazing multiplayer but shit everything else, in halo 5 people complained about the gameplay not feeling like old halo anymore, in halo infinite they focused on making gameplay feel like old halo and everything else was shit for like a whole year, they seem to look at the complaints and then only work on those for the next game

@@direwolfkaniz9192 It's theoretically possible (Portal 2 has splitscreen on PC, using either two controllers or a keyboard/mouse and controller), but Infinite's a lot more taxing on hardware than Portal. I'd be surprised if most PCs could run two instances of the game as splitscreen requires.

They haven't even added the falcon or add any new meaningful content aside from forge maps and new cash shop items. What about old halo guns? The mantis? Railgun? New core sandbox mechanics? Look I'm not gonna crap on your positivity bro. But this trailer literally is just trying to rope in people who have moved on from infinite's meh launch. It's not a bad game but they definitely could handle it better and should! But can't because the main team is already off making halo 7. Nothing new came out of this trailer, least they could've done is add something new for the people that have stuck with infinite cause I have, and when I saw this trailer. I thought on top of all the stuff they were telling us about. There'd be at least something. Just one new thing! But there isn't. And it's sad.
That "betrayal" scene on console multiplayer was pretty funny though. That was awesome.😂 They captured the Red vs. Blue vibe perfectly. Jeff Steitzer is legendary.

Reality of Halo Infinite in 3 years:
-8 arena maps.
-3 btb maps.
-2 equipment.
-1 power equipment.
-1 weapon.
-No new vehicles.
-No campaign dlc (or update)
-Store content for 30$
(Forge maps do not count.)
This is why 343 shouldn't, ever, listen to backpaddling from Community members about what constitutes as content. The developer should make the content, not believe a "community" cares enough about the game to make content wanted by said community.
This is the minimun launch state we're acepting for Halo 7. Know that.
For real. Campaign. Multiplayer. Forge. Something co-op. ARMOR COLORS SHOULD BE FREE. It might be a lot by today's standards but even halo 4 met these requirements at launch
