- Looking forward to another M. Night Shyamalan thriller. If Split has shown us anything, it's that Mr. M. Night can deliver real-life thrills.
Trap is an upcoming American mystery thriller film directed and written by M/ Night Shyamalan. The film stars Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills, and Allison Pill. The plot revolves around a serial killer who attends a concert with his daughter only to realize the police have targeted him at the venue.
Trap is scheduled to be released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures on August 9, 2024.

Come on mate must of seen him advertised/interviews in other things since Penny Dreadful like: the last season of Black mirror episode with Josh Hartnett + Aaron Paul: Beyond the Sea last year!
Guy Ritchie's-Wrath of Man in 2021/Oppenheimer in 2023-which were shown/talked about loads on TV, Radio, Mags, Social Media, people talking bout it out and about! etc
I mentioned those but outside of a few indy projects and straight to video flicks, dude took a lot of breaks in between major roles. I edited the part about Black Mirror since I wasn't sure about how many episodes he'd been in

I think that's why it could work. Taking it from the weird and supernatural could be a dope direction for him.
Given that there are twists in M.N. Shyamalan's movies, he might not be the killer. He might be even somebody that wants to catch the killer. An agent, law enforcement on the killer's trail? Who knows?
True true. I'm guessing maybe that person tied up could be the killer. I can't wait to find out
M. Night Shyamalan movies are always a hit or miss with me but maybe Trap has the potential to wow me somehow. I suppose we shall see.
True...100% feel the same. I am hoping they go the Split route and keep it simple and grounded in realism. It could really work well.

This movie looks but peak my interest, but I'm agree with you that say what you want about M. Night Shyamalan, he do have a creative mind when it's come to do original movies with a twist.
Also, I'm glad to see Josh Hartnett back to acting in blockbuster movies, and that man still fine as hell, and also age fine as wine. 😉😍
