How are the edges of the case? Are they loose and do they flex/bend, or are the edges somewhat rigid (as rigid as can be for this material, i guess) and stiff? I hate loose and wiggly cases/edges!

Bit late to answer but yes rigid. Spigen is absolute top notch quality. Only brand cases i now use. Liquid Air is the maximum drop protection for minimal size & weight. The fit - really the essence of your question, you wont find better. 99% of other cases are cheap chinese junk.

Their Neo Hybrid line is crazy durable, you can rub off minor scratches on the rubberized surface and mine still looks brand new after 1.5 years on my Note 9...and it's also much cheaper than fugly UAG and Otterbox to boot.
