He almost led Houston over GSW. He also played well in OKC. Paul was always better than Westbrook but the fall-off is pretty severe. I think Westbrook has lost a step and a step is HUGE in the NBA. Paul has always been as good as it gets in the clutch and mid-range game. For one season, Im not sure there's a point guard in the league Id rather have over CP3.
The Pelicans made most of their runs against the suns bench while they were playing starters; let that sink in. This is a dangerous team, amazing role players to keep a lead and an amazing group of starters to further it.
The Suns went even to easy in first half and lose a bit of concentration in the 3th quarter. Kudos to the Pelicans that try to fight as hard they can but the skills level differential is just too much.

These guys talk like it's so easy to defend. They have no idea how much harder it is to defend these days. There is just much better players in today's league. You cant play conventional pick and roll defense. You have to switch at times. There is no easy answer. Find it hilarious. Anyboy notice , the referees were letting Phoenix be a little to rough on the Pelicans. It look to me like they were reluctant to make calls against Phoenix. That helped the Suns a great deal. The Pelicans missed a ton of wide open shots (perimeter and at the rim). The Suns defense was good but the decision making and the open shots missed by the Pelicans was even worse. The Suns did put them in bad spots at times but the Pelicans will play better next game.
