I want one of those snares in the worst way! Charlie has always had an incredible drum sound. Very open and ringy, with a snare snap and pop to die for.
I would love to hear Charlie's drums played with and without Vinnie's triggered sounds added in. I think it would be really cool to hear how Vinnie's sounds change the mix.
I think that Charlie does a great job of paying tribute to Vinnie Paul and Pantera by playing all of Vinnie's drum parts to a tee like they were recorded on the albums and performed live but I am very disappointed that Zakk Wylde doesn't play all of Dime Bag's parts like they were recorded on the albums and performed live. Sorry but it just doesn't fully sound like Pantera to me if you don't play all of the guitar parts the way the late great Dime Bag recorded them on the albums and performed them live... \m/\m/
