I thought I'd upload this sort of like a live stream. There's lots of silent bits and there's no music to set the mood, but hopefully it's not too boring! Most manhunts are longer than this, but it was still great!
Unsure on if I'll do this in the future, but if you guys really like stuff like this maybe I will! I might instead make an "Extended Cut" or something that has full fight scenes rather than leaving in the uninteresting stuff.
There are points in this video where I check my phone, or I check my discord or something. Sometimes if I'm standing still or something that might be why. There's also a short pause while there was a bug. There's kind of awkward silences as well, but that's just what happens when you're focusing! Manhunts are a blast to record, and I'm sure you can see us bantering and the fun we have recording :)
At one point in the video I accidentally go into full screen (I play in windowed), so it messes up my recording, it's just zoomed in on mostly the top left for about a minute.
EXTRA INFO:
When we play manhunt we play on a custom server and a custom server jar and I play with a custom mod for recording QOL. This means that settings on our server / my view may be different from normal Minecraft. Mob amounts, distribution, render distance, coordinates display, and much more. For performance reasons and otherwise for your enjoyment (Coordinates usually takes up half the screen and that sucks for videos, so it's just small in the top left when I use them :))
The crafting in mid air that I did may not be doable in vanilla Minecraft, because the crafting bench GUI force closes too quickly to craft anything, however the distance for when a force close will happen will differ on some servers, and differ due to lag as well. Just for extra information! I plan on doing an analysis and talking about a lot of stuff this manhunt because it was just full of content.

It’s my favorite part, it gave us the mounted horse jousting match and the under-lava battle to the death. Even if being timid leaves the hunters alive the mindlessly running into death makes for cinematic battles lmao

I want to see Manhunt reversed.
Where the usual 5 hunters have to try and beat Minecraft but Dream hunts them. Once they die they are out but the others still have a chance to beat the game.

I like these versions so much better than the edited ones. It really lets you take in the full context of each play and see Dream's thought process (like Dream regretfully building that ladder when he's one short of a boat). If you read this, @DreamXD please release more unedited manhunts!

Other than basically giving Dream all his Diamond tools, I feel like Sapnap was really on his game this manhunt. He was doing some different strategies than usual and I feel like he definitely did the most damage to Dream

14:12 when Anti_Frost was towering he placed a crafting table and he fell down on purpose for some reason... And then when sapnap hit dream sap actually hit him IN THE DIRECTION of the wood tower and dream had to react fast and he just MLG clutch with the crafting table and boat.
I know I'm insanely late to this, but that boat clutch was absolutely legendary.

I think the Boat MLG is possibly the most impressive thing Dream has done. There is a long list of mind blowing moves that have been done in this series but just... wow! It has been fun watching Dream and everyone grow. They are all fantastic at playing Minecraft. They all did a great job.

i always come back to these vids and put them on as background noise while i do school work :) and it always helps fills that silence, and just with this vid i've done a test and a whole module for one of my classes

i should say i have never been amazed by dream so far but the fact that he managed to control his adrenalin and make a boat floating on a mid air CT and then put it down and survive really really amazed me - nothing in the whole series has amazed me but this floating boat mid air thing

@@Fourriot it could work well if they’d edited it together from more than dreams perspective so it sometimes jumps to what the hunters are doing to keep it interesting, however that would take an insane amount of editing so i doubt they’ll go for that
@@oelaty9116 As someone who knows how to edit, putting in clips from other perspectives wouldn't be an insane amount of editing, so I don't see why not! Only hard part would be deciding what to put in from the other perspective at what times, and also the videos are around 2-3 hours long so that's also a pain haha

Dream when falling be like,"according to my calculations in order to make the boat I would need to move and craft faster that I have ever crafted, and I must move my mouse at a speed of 6 clicks, the middle row must have on the left and right oak wood, and in the middle, I must have a wood shovel, on the bottom row all oak logs, after that I must take the boat and put it into my inventory, and use the boat and react in a high speed, and by doing this I will create boat MLG

At exactly 2:12:20, you can see dream fires the final bow shot that kills the dragon, but due to the bug the death isn't a proper death and is instead an instant respawn.
Technically, Dream DID kill the dragon, with that bowshot. But the bug meant the death didn't involve any animation/advancement.
That arrow misses though? It goes too low to hit I think

@@JesterLegend4life in the recent versions there's just a glitch that allows the dragon to respawn before it's actually dead. This info can be found on the minecraft wiki.

dude I love these video's one of my favorite minecraft video creator's if not the favorite, and that freaking boat craft 100% best thing i've ever sceen.
seeing a bunch of these already it would be interesting to do a "ranked biome tier list" since not all biomes have villages or desert temples for example - in terms of "quick and on the fly resources in intense and time sensitive situations, mining resources would decrease the rank, free chests and easy to "fast mine" resource locations would increase the rank list
That boat craft mlg clutch is genuinely the best play I've ever seen in my life.
