Hello! Yes, there are MANY great sources for wax seal products. Feel free to share! (However, please do not link to the site that knocks off stamp companies. I don't allow mention of them in my comments. Legal reasons, and moral reasons.) Thanks! :)

Hi Jennifer, Thanks for this video. I have always loved wax seals. I love the way you organized your wax seal stamps and beads. I didn't see a link for the Fridge Binz (or similar product) that you used. Do you know the size of the container you showed in your video? Many thanks.

When I was 12 during the summer vacation, I decided I wanted to be more like a “lady”. Lol. My bedroom was quite small, so my sweet mother helped me figure out how to make a desk to use for writing letters. I also decided to change my handwriting. I practiced for at least 2 hours a day. Then my mother helped me buy a wax seal set. I made a lovely box to keep it in and another box for my stationery. Later I was given a fountain pen. I was in heaven! I spent many happy hours a day writing to my granny and friends. It was really the beginning of my first craft desk. Such good memories. What a wonderful video! Anyone can get all the information to get started. Jennifer, you always give us your best! You do know that we all love you and appreciate you! Sending love and hugs, treen 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

I have a wax seal from the 1970's, groovy colors and seal stamps...I love using them! My son gave me a set with lots of different color wax pellets and a stamp, too. Such fun!

Spellbinders knocked it out of the park with this wax seal kit! This is throwback to my younger days when I used wax seals on all my letters. Jennifer your demo and the kit make it look easy and less messy than I remember. I spent time hiding and then cleaning spilled wax off the kitchen table. 😂

Hello, I make my waxseals directly on slightly smaller paper circles (cardstock scraps or copypaper), this way they are easier to glue on. (liquid adhesive will grab then paper to paper).
Thanks for reminding me to use them! 😘

Wax seals have come back around. I like the wax pellets instead of the sticks. Much neater. I learned how to make "permanent" wax seals with hot glue and alcohol inks back in the 90s, too. I could go nuts with this.

Wow this was a timely lesson. I have spent the last week looking at various wax seal kits and accessories. I especially appreciated the technique you described of placing the holder on the wax and letting it do it's thing. I saw a couple video where they were pressing it down and it didn't seem to leave a detailed impression which was making me hesitant to invest in the products. Thanks so much for demonstrating this product.

Hello Jennifer, I love making wax seals and have been making them for a while. I also love using the powder shimmer instead of using markers on top. They usually come in little pots with a foam tip applicator. The shimmer they leave is absolutely incredible! You just rub it on the seals with the foam tip and it adheres to the raised edges. You can even use the side of the applicator to make more defined shimmer to the seals. They come in a variety of colors, but the gold and silver are my favorites. I hope you’ll try them out! I think you’ll love them too 😊 Amazon carry’s them also. Loved your demonstration and cards.

What a great video explaining wax seals. I didn’t think I’d have any interest, but was curious to see how it was done. I was surprised to find that this looks like something I’d really enjoy. Your brother & Lila did a great job on the seals as well!!! Sending gratitude, blessings, & hugs!!!

I have the wick type wax, but I also have the pellets. These are fun! I want to try luster wax (or guilding wax) on the raised area. So glad you used the Spellbinders club kit products...I get “the whole package” so I have all of them! I’m so glad you shared about the plastic sleeve idea...I save all of my sleeves after removing the products that come in them. I think it would be fun to press a foiling die in the wax...I would think you’d get a nice impression! Gonna go play now! TYFS! ❤️🦋💜

I loved this video! I remember putting wax seals on all my mail back in the late 60s/early 70s using those long sticks of wax as shown on your shopping list. My absolute favorite item is the beautiful November 2022 Small Die of the Month. What a bargain! And all those color combos you shared were spectacular. Another item I loved was the white “foil” - what a great effect! You’re costing me, Jennifer, but you do it with style. Thanks for the share.

I'm obsess with wax seal! That's how I made my way to cardmaking. Thank you for this amazing video.
Little trick: If you pour the spoon slowly with a small angle, you will obtain almost exactly what you see in the spoon (color and patterns). It's because the wax upper layer will stay identical.

Speaking of inspiration: I couldn't help but wonder if small drops of the wax might be able to be used as dimensional embellishments on cards to match the seal. Don't know if the wax would form nice round dots, just an idea I had.
