- hi guys, here's my First Ride Review of Keeway Vieste 300 - The Premium Maxi Sports Scooter from Keeway. In this video, I tell you about the brand Keeway and share all the details that you need to know about this new motoscooter including features, specs, price, etc.

Would really love it if Yamaha brings nmax 150 to our shores. Affordable and practical,wife and I toured Thailand on it with luggage .

Looks ultimate compared to all the other scooters. If it was priced at about 2lakh I would have brought one for myself. Now it's way beyond my budget
Yamaha aerox is 1.40 lacs with 150cc
So a 300cc is going to be double. And it has better build quality than yamaha. Yamaha is a khatara. Cheap panels used. Vibrates like hell at 80kmph.and feels like body parts will fall apart beyond that speed.keeway has dual channel abs. Yamaha has cheap drums at the rear which doesn't even have stopping power.
Where do they manufacture. India or China. If it's in China then of course it's gonna be more expensive than if it was manufactured here.
U can borrow some money and buy it.

I don't think it is:
Yamaha Aerox - 1980mm x 700mm x 1150mm | Wheelbase - 1350mm | Seat Height - 790 mm
Keeway Vieste 300 - 1930mm x 800mm x 1130mm | Wheelbase - 1390mm | Seat Height - 770 mm
Aprilia SR 160 - 1985mm x 806mm x 1261mm | Wheelbase - 1365mm | Seat Height - 780 mm
The Aerox is longer and taller and has larger 14-inch wheels. Vieste is smaller, wider, but has a longer wheelbase, and much lower seat height.
@@RahulSrinivas Many thanks for the information. I thought Vieste is a bit larger but my bad both are more or less similar.
Surprisingly, the Aprilia SR 160 seems to be still the LARGEST scooter in the country by size (Except for the C400 GT). It's even longer than and wider than the Aerox! Edited my comment to add SR 160's dimensions as well. (Even the SXR is smaller)
It is overpriced but slightly.
Benelli is not aiming this as mass market scooter. Premium brands dont expect to sell in huge numbers.
I went to showroom here in kolkata, on road blue matte color is 3.66 lakh and white is 3.9 lakh.
Considering 3.6 lakh price tag its not that high. Of course you can buy a lot of bikes at that price but this product is being placed as a premium maxi scooter even though Keeway isnt a premium brand.
Things i noticed in showroom with this-
1. Handlebars vibrate a lot at idle.
2.Underseat storage useless. Cant fit any helmet even half size.
3. Engine sound is very bassy and not like any other scooter.
4. Weight even though 147kg is not felt at all very balanced
5.Very comfortable riding triangle.
6. Easily flat footable for short riders.
7.Keyless thing is a hassle.
8. Instrument cluster missed out on fuel efficiency meter.
BTW guys I loved it,but since we are buying a car soon have to wait some months to manage finances or would have bought as a "shauk ka" scooter not everyday. (Aerox155 and Aprilia sxr160 owner btw)
Please tell us no.of speed/steps in this CVT transmission.
Eager to know the rpm of engine while doing 100 kph.

K light 250v will be priced more than double the price of Avenger 220.

Price wise, the Dominar 400 (being a bike) is a better VFM than this Maxi Scooter, in all aspects - Reliability, Service, Ownership cost, Brand value etc.

These scooter make better tourer than motorcycles i tell you. Hie this creates market in India and likes of Tvs and Bajaj jump in. A 300 plus cc maxi scooter
does it have heated grips? can’t see any control button for it …

Company advertised heated grips, but none of the test vehicles seem to have them. Strange

I had seen the vehicle in a showroom without a separate switch but that sold internationally has a separate one which is talked about in the reviews..
I had asked more details including service…and complained about their showroom not be responsive on insta but they swiftly deleted it 😅

@@bharathr7118 Update: I ended up buying the Vieste 300. Been using it for over a year now and am extremely happy with the purchase. And yes, it does come with heated grips. :D

@@itsgodzagain I am also an automobile engineer don't go by books cover there are a lots of things to be counted bullet 500 cc engine has 25+ bhp but it struggles to pass 120 Mark 😎

If scooter need to get hit in India there is need of space in middle bcz indian people carry many things on middle spaces otherwise it's flop in India no indian see engine when they buy scoter
Maxi scooter are not meant for peasants. Look for the Keeway Sixties 300i.
This is not meant for such customers.
This is for those who uses this either for touring or weekend getaway and already owns commuter scooties.

Honda is planning to launch adv350 in India it might price between 3-4lakhs ex showroom
but 150 cc would be more budget friendly

It is a Chinese company now no more Hungarian. A majority of product promotors of this product are concealing China name, and revealing Hungarian product. Maybe we can after few months know about quality.
