I think mixing all the different gods in the Sisters of Chaos kill team will be really cool

Nurgle sisters would be horrific.
I wouldn't make them bloated with disease, maybe more like undead? All skin and bones, maybe a mossy/tree theme as well? Swamp Ladies.

honestly, with how kill happy the sisters tend to be, converting to khorne seems like the easier link to make, since they might start revelling in the death of heretics, but in doing so, slowly become one themselves.
that said, simple but very effective conversion you've done here pete, job well done!
I believe they are most likely to fall to Slannesh because he is the god of excess and indulgence, and its undeniable the Sisters worship the Emperor to a degree that could be deemed “excessive.” Khorne can work for just about any faction, but I’m sure if the sisters could convert their enemies to the light of the Emperor they would do that instead if just purging them.
@@banishedpest115 They certainly would not. They're said to be bloodthirsty and combative. They wouldn't 'prefer' to convert their enemies. that's just not their lore.
@@anniebae7049 i dont think the sisters would get a chance to convert anyone in the first place. Pretty much anyone they meet will either belive in the emperor, be a heretic, or be a xeno
@@banishedpest115 thing is though, sisters are taught and trained to never indulge, they specifically adhere to an extremely zealous regime.
The only way i see them being influenced by slaanesh is when their urges to resist this regime becomes big enough for slaanesh to notice (urges of any kind mind you).
The desire to destroy heretics however is big... so big in fact i think it's the number one pit they have to be careful of.
@@shadowsketch926 Slaanesh isn't about indulgence. It's about excess in all its forms. Their excessive worship feeds into Slaanesh. Their fervour in keeping the word feeds into Slaanesh. Their incredibly strict structure as well as punishing oneself for even the slightest hint of disappointing the Emperor feeds Slaanesh.
And often missed is, their big thing is burning. Khorne cares not about such methods of battle. Khorne wants blood, not a pyre.
Slaanesh makes more sense for the sisters than any of the other gods. However, except in exceptional circumstances none of the gods make sense. Only 1 sister has ever fallen to the corrupting influence of chaos willingly. Her name being Miriel Sabbath (I may have boned that spelling). Her falling to Slaanesh. Other sisters have fallen to chaos, but it's either been by being possessed by a Keeper of Secrets or having been mind controlled onto a path of, iirc, Khorne. In both cases it was shown that the corrupted sisters had not fallen completely and were fighting back against the corruption. The mind controlled ones specifically ended up killing themselves once the source of the control had been taken care of.
Who wouldn't want a full kill team of Sexy Battle Sisters!?
Perhaps each squad could worship a different chaos god.
It would be pretty fun to see how differently I could get each squad to look whilst using the same base kit. I like it.
Saw some concept art for Plague Sisters once. That’s how you spread Nurgle’s Rot right there.
I was thinking something similar after seeing the traitor guardsman and pox / plague walkers seen in BSF.
And how would they look like, if bashed in 2-1 ratio.
As nurgle worshiping cult, or renegade regiment.
Artel W. has some fallen battle Sisters you might enjoy. They also have some cool Inquisitors
so want to see a korne worshiping sister

I like that idea a lot. The different specialist roles could be grouped into different gods: medic=nurgle, eviscerator=khorn, etc
Very nice, often the best conversions are the ones kept mostly simple.
I have a challenge for you, that you might want to try: A Wraith Knight + a Real Grade EVA kit (any model). They're mostly the same height and the idea woulld be to cut the wraith knight armor plates down to fit onto the articulated frame of the EVA unit, giving you a posable Wraith Knight that will look especially menacing. It's a lot of grinding and sanding down the plastic armor plates, but the end result could be the single most epic Wraith Knight ever created.
It's not cheap and it's a lot of work, so I don't know if you'd be willing to even try. Please let me know what you think of the idea.
I love how the back of the head gives her more of a high collar jacket feel than the usual nun theme.

I’m doing this for my gf for Xmas since she loves playing kt but hates painting and modeling
I love this concept truly as I have both Slaanesh and SoB. However do you feel like looking back that you obtained the flesh look on the legs? With the Coat already being purple it came off in the reveal shot as more of just purple cloth on the legs as well. However I know no camera captures the in person result so I'm curious.
Amazing conversion! And a great base for further paintjobs. I'm missing the slaaneshi style of excess, pleasure and pomp. Maybe a blood-splattered white loincloth, some golden details ... :)
Gold would've done quite a bit for this model. I too felt it was missing a few details. Slaanesh and his/her/hen's/its followers alike tend to love bling and extravagant decorations.

I had a go at some basic conversions last week (first time for many years) and I sliced my thumb three times in the same place making it deeper and bloodier.
I think I need a thimble or leather thumb cover or something.....
I've been planning to do a whole army of Slaanesh corupted sisters for a while, this is a nice proof of concept for me. Now just to build up the skill to get this dream army to tabletop one day.

I've got an army of Sisters of Slaanesh going, and this vid has definitely helped with some ideas/concepts.
This is really helpful. I'm kitbashing an army right now for a crusade that is the fallen sister of Our Martyred Lady, Miriael Sabathiel as the warlord. I had an idea to have her stuffing any demonettes she summons or conscripts into the wargear she loots off of the Adeptus Sororitas assassins that are constantly trying to take her out.
This conversion was pretty sick and I would adore seeing you do corrupted sisters of the other gods, including Malice!

Looks great! My only critique is that the shades of purple for skin and clothes feel like they run into one another too well. More contrast between them, or a different color entirely probably would have yielded better results. That said, I do absolutely love how the clothes look with the shades or purple!

These would make nice cultists with suitable weapons. They look great and I might look at picking up some of the models when they are more readily available.
I love seeing watching you kit bashing videos and I would love to see your take on Chaos Sisters for the other gods. And maybe a Sister for Chaos Undivided as a squad leader.

in the 40k lore, there's only ever been one sister of battle (Miriael Sabathiel) who fell to slaanesh's corruption. so perhaps she took her former sisters and found a way to convert them to chaos

I imagine either horns or Medusa-like heads and snake eyes and long pointy or forked tongues, and greenish blue skin, or white highlighted with teal, and greenish blue armor.

It would be interesting to see how you would go about a melee Sister of Khorne (or perhaps a revised version with editing to cover the points of the conversion), a Sister of Tzeentch (perhaps a leader or symbol bearer that could double as a sorcerer(sorceress?)), and then a Sister of Nurgle (Probably use a hospice or whatever the medic sisters are call as a basis) or just use the same Fireteam set but do different conversions? Perhaps even try an Undivided Chaos or Malal Sister?
Female psykers dedicated to either Tzeentch, Slaanesh or Nurgle would indeed be called Sorceresses rather than Sorcerers.

Hey Pete, if you ever seen one of the Alpha Legion kit bashes where they are disguised pretty much cut a loyalist and a Chaos marine and hal and smack em together, I'd love to see you do something like that. Im sure you'd be able to make it love amazing

2: Honestly Slaanesh for sisters is kinda overdone for all the wrong reasons.

Solid conversion, but some slaneshi flair is missing. I think slanesh and simple are two things that don't match
yeah, god of excess + desaturated & simple doesnt really work for me.
I would really love to se a sister of nurgle. As the corrupted frame would open a lot of different details.
