Thanks for this video, very interesting work. By the way, I've build a large cnc router myself. It's operated by LinuxCNC, which is not worse than mach3, and is also very easy to work with, while being absolutely free of charge unlike mach3 which costs 1400USD for the pro version and 200$ for the hobby one. The problem with mach3 is that it's a windows software. Windows is not the best choice for this sort of equipment as to me. Linux proves to be a much more reliable system in terms of different viruses and network attacks.

Hello Roger , try to make a cnc and the first problem I have is as follows ; vectorizo an image with the Inkscape program , then with Cam Lazy G code step by step and when Mach 3 , only part of the G code program is copied , the lines 0 to 49. This always happens with any program machining step to mach 3. thanks in advance.

      200mm gantry and 2200w / 3hp spindle (router motor) + I had the 4th
axis. Total cost including shipping and TAX, USD$ 7000, I would also recommend you
purchasing ArtCam Express software approximately 200 USD, as the CNC router
machine is supplied with ArtCam Jewel-smith from Salecnc China, but with NO 3D
reliefs. ArtCam Express comes with over 600 3D reliefs. Understand that there

Why are your videos interlaced? I can't remember the last time I saw interlaced video...combined with your love of hand-holding the camera, it makes the videos really hard to watch. Investing in a tripod, DIY steadicam, or at least a camera with optical or digital image stabilization would be really worthwhile. I also don't understand why your videos are cropped. It looks sort of like you've stuck 720p content in a 1080p frame, which is baffling.

    Goodmorning again Roger,
Visited a store in Ottawa recently and an older salesman discouraged me from buying a CNC because 1- they are unreliable 2- they are too slow 3- sawdust affects the computer 4- bits are too expensive 5- poor service and warranties on CNCs 6- more trouble than they are worth.
Any comments? by the way, It's -20deg Celcius here in Matawatchan, Ontario this a.m

in metal (aluminum) i use feed rate of 90 mm/sec at 0,07 to 0,1 mm depth with 5mm tool
it dosen't melt the material, and it's safe for the operator because the chip load is small and there is no risk of brakeing the tool, and that is really important

I'd like to ask about some of the details about this machine, such as:
    * What is the maximum size of the machine can be played (length, width and height)?
    * Do you work the machine on any type of woods including hardwood? Does that can work on any material other than woods?
    * How is the introduction of shapes and drawings executed by the machine?
