Thanks for the playthrough! I had been wondering about Maquis and I can now see how it plays. Seems like a fun and portable experience I could easily take on trips. I did love how it felt like the milice was onto the cocky resistance fighters by the end and really put on the pressure.
Ha ha! Those resistance fighters did get a little full of themselves. It is incredible how one oversight can lead to a quick ending which I agree seems quite thematic. Glad the video was helpful for you to get a feel for how Maquis plays. Thanks for watching!

Hi Tony! Thanks for watching and commenting. What I showed in the video included all the "expansion" material. The main difference between a retail version and this Kickstarter version is the quality of the materials (the dual layered boards) and the larger level 3 missions. The new material includes those 4 new missions (all level 3), 3 new spare rooms (I showed those briefly) and the 3 new resources (fake ID, poison and anti-aircraft). I might be able to film a playthrough of a game using those complicated missions which will very likely use some of those new rooms and resources, but I think you have seen all the new components in this video. I may need to work myself up to level 3 before I record it, but I would definitely be open to it if there is interest!
So, you forgot to mark the graffiti on Pont du Nord, and unless you're playing on Hard level the morale does not go down when you're arrested (and if you did, you'd have started with 2 workers, had to decrease morale on "arrow" days & so on). I played the first time and it was so easy that I thought I did something wrong, but the point is it should be easy if you choose those 2 starter missions.
@@BillyIndiana Yeah, like I said, these 2 starting missions are REALLY easy, you can finish them in 5-6 days and don't even need additional men (even if the graffiti guy gets arrested, you'd have one worker remaining, and since you'd get to the 6th day at worst, there would always be max 3 cops). Also playing two one-star missions is not much harder. What helps the most is 'counting cards', knowing that there are 3x of every location and you're allowed to look at the discard pile, so if you're going through the second half of patrol deck it's easy to predict where the patrols can't be (and thus spare yourself some of "placeholder" workers to do something more useful). Even with those mistakes this video was helpful to quickly get into the rules :)
