Been working in logistics 20 years. Just for reference, your typical 48x40" pallet weighs anywhere from 25 to 30 pounds. Make sure to add that in on each pallet delivery
Bunjii did me and a partner hella dirty too! Made us drive 148 miles to try and make us drive another 101 miles on top of that for no additional pay saying they couldn’t give us the right address from the jump because it’s too far of a location to put in.. tried to say it was in the special notes and we should’ve checked that before leaving.. we did.. I made sure I did and do before any job. They gave us a new address once we arrived at the other one.. then when we said we wasn’t doing it and took it back they gave us $70!!! I spent more in gas! lol
Now u gotta expose walmart abusing the gig size system with Roadie. I constantly see items that should be "Huge" that they're sending out as XL and they added into the description that gigs will not be resized.
so im not the only one that noticed that. YES we need to boycott those walmart orders. seen one the other day was over 200 lbs and was over 7 ft long and they had it as a large gig... for $19 wasnt going far but i didnt touch it. some idiot did. they wont learn if we take anything they offer
I know Home Depot in my area will screw with orders and it's them entering false info not Roadie. Went to pick up an order that said was small got there and info said it was a contractor pencil...I was like you've got to be joking. The associates at HD told me they enter it as a pencil when items on a previous delivery were wrong or missing. That order turned out ok it was only a pack of landscape stakes but the next one I had like that was enough lumber to fit a flat bed trailer I'm in a Nissan versa! Problem is it's the merchant screwing with the delivery info not Roadie. The problem with Roadie lately is no customer service people available . 2 days after I tried to get the last "pencil" order canceled they called me wanting to know what they could help with! I'm glad I figured it out on my own or I'd still be stuck with that job on my app!
The different apps pay different amounts for those tile pallets. Ran a Bungii load today that was 800lbs for $55. Last week I ran a 1,500lb pallet of tile for $35. I was pissed, I din't see the details on the Dispatch load. I've started declining the tile loads, the fees the apps are paying are stupid low.
Yes you have to watch these shippers. They do what they can to pay less for shipping so they “guesstimate” the weight instead of taking the time to calculate it. I’m seeing the same thing with these other apps. Dimensions and weight will be way off.
I did a Spark order this morning from Books A Million. first of all, no name on the order, so BAM didnt know what to give me. THEN, got to the dropoff and NO APARTMENT # showing to who to deliver it to. Called support and they said return it to BAM> I asked how much am I getting paid? Support says, she couldnt disclose that because it was handled by another department. and I said....... If you cant disclose, I cant return. It is delivered to Apartment A, so go figure it out." not deactivated yet, lol
Some of the time it be the customer lying to get a cheaper price trust me, they tell the shipping company a fake weight, not saying in this case but it happens
#CCC - Sounds like lots of misinformation all the way around. Apps should make the shipping customer take pictures of what they want shipped so the delivery driver knows exactly what to expect. Also, it should be very easy for them to say it's a round-trip or a point-to-point delivery.
Jerome curri is the same way. Curri gave me a violation because I asked for more money because it was supposed to be 123 lbs and it was 1200lbs and they gave me a violation because I wanted more money and they lied. I deleted bungii because both companies are liars and scandalous.
I do bungii for a while and it happens to me before, sometimes the workers at the tile shop dont follow what we are supose to pick up. this kind of tile they never stack like that, they are supose to split it up. and for the trip back the tile shop is supose to set it up for back trip. and if they don do that the bungii pay 1 more pallet, but you got talk to the support in a right way. lol TILE SHOP WRONGGG !!!!
The app doesn't know the weight, the shop inputs the information. Also the shop guy straight lied...so that tells me he played more of a dirty hand to pay less. The app should have a way to ask you to verify pick up accuracy. If not accurate, refuse the job. Great video, thank you.
Wouldn't take anything that was over the weight stated I would contact the app before driving so the price can be edited. They put it in wrong for a reason to be cheap.
They said each pallet was 1250 but the first one you said was 2596 and the second was 2394. So they paid you for half the weight of each I think. Should have been for 5000 pounds not 2500
I think dude at towel shop sold some of that order to make some extra change that’s why he was actin strange talking about exchange also to why the box was open already with some removed
Shpoers fault they often try to scam to pay less for shipment . Everyone tries it on you gotta be on your toes right and if you did extra work phone say your gonna need payment for extra time work or goods right 👏👍😎
I don’t know why this video didn’t pop up, so I’m late to this one. Th driver that brought us a set of tires showed us something that was foul. He had 4 set of tires (16 total), driving 271 miles for $80. But that’s not the kick in the head! Roadie had that order listed as 4 bundled car orders. He showed me that it said can fit in trunk and backseat. In my mind it was a pickup truck - minimum. They be doing you all dirty! Also, this video proves how easy it is for shady clients to put in an order and size it wrong, thus getting a heavy order delivered for dirt cheap. You guys should figure out a way to calculate that weight before you load up.
It does seem like a headache, but I run for Bungii around Detroit and there's No Way we would see pay like that for the same order. 60-$80 for 2000lbs at 20 miles is what I've seen for the past few months. glad to see those kinda numbers are out there
Its still $258 even if they lied for a total of 30 miles...You got to be thankful to do that order..Ill do those all day and gas was probably $6 for 30 miles, maaaaaan..
That’s what I’m thinking.. most I made on 1 trip on Bungii was $90 for a duo switched to a solo. For $250 Idgaf what the weight is as long as my vehicle can handle it 🤣🤣
I think the tile shop was the one who messed up. It probably was two pallets, but they didn't want to break it down, so he lied. They do it in my area. They will also leave the weight sheet off, so you don't know. Also, 9 times out of 10, if the pay is high and the miles are low with bungii, it's a return trip.
...Also, with Bungii, I started doing those yesterday. Did 4 loads today which I was pretty happy with. Got a message tonight saying my account has been suspended because of something that happened on 1 of the loads today. No mention of what, only that I've had my account suspended. I think it was something petty 'cause nothing bad happened today. Everything went smooth. I'll probably find out next week what happened. Kinda garbage if you ask me.
AN ASSUMPTION IN ALGORITHM ASSUMES THAT AN EXCHANGE WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT GOING ONE WAY AS IT DOES THE OTHER: CUSTOMER SAID IT WOULD BE 1975 THERE AND 2500 BACK HE ONLY GOT A PORTION (1975) OF THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF 2500
I hesitate to say what I think happened with the order, but it looks like you did your best to satisfy the rest of them. If you're getting a lot of funny business on order weight, you could check one or two boxes with a small scale (not usually worth it to check them all). If they're off by so much that even the van has to work harder, my favorite thing to do is find a truck stop scale. The truck stop should be willing to weigh any vehicle, and they're less likely these days to require a CB, but lots of people don't want to spend the extra time and money to use a scale.
CCC- sounds like everyone was lying. He put in 1250lbs and it was really more like 2000lbs then bungii put it as a straight delivery and low-key buried the exchange part of the transaction 😔
More than likely they charge per 100 lbs or 1000 lbs so if he said under 2000 he’s save a few bucks same used to happen when I was a foot and bike messenger in nyc lying about weight dimensions etc
I think you're correct with the app being wrong, they were trying to save a return trip payment. I also think that the title company is at fault too for misleading. Thank you for the great content!
If u think about it u did the math u already kno wat happen. Notice the customer didnt react to any missing product, notice how quick buddy ass lied about a missing pallet. Wasn't no missing product in my opinion u actually had both pallets combined in 1. The graphic u showed at 4:57 and the math u did at 7:53 are actually equal. I think u just was confused because buddy ass lied for no reason about a missing pallet. If anything i think buddy prolly finnessed bunji to make it seem like u only taking half the product maybe to save himself some money but if im not mistaken i think u actually got exactly wat u signed up for but got confused cuz buddy ass was tryna finesse the app
sounds like the company grew way too fast and didnt evolve the app experience, some glaring obvious issues. They should have had a 24/7 customer support line for drivers and clients so that issues like these could be immediately fixed.. things like the weight being off is definitely highway robbery, but really feels like something that could be fixed by the company if they were listening to their customers or watching your videos. Gosh you'd have every right to refuse the load until it was rectified so you got paid right.
What city/area do u do your order ive been on your channel for a min nd i dont seen to get good orders in Chicago i dont mind driving to areas with better opportunities
doesnt who scamming. you picked and delivered 2596 lbs and you brought back 2394 you hand unloaded and hand loaded 5,000lbs of tile- roflmao I see those orders here for around $45 fk that, those people are crazy I can deliver 25lbs of burgers and fries and make more than that
You got off light buddy the payment was for 2500 lbs you only took 1900 lbs was for a return trip as stated . So you got full payment for less weight???? 😮😅😅😅
all they did was split up the weight among 2 pallets instead of 1. 1250 + 1250 = 2500, which was the weight of 1 pallet......they probably figured it was easier to put it all on 1 pallet. You still got paid $250 for a few hours work, nice job!!!

Deadass roadie b on some bs and they barely pay
Don’t boycott Walmart, roadie is the problem
My friend picked up a Roadie order that said 72 inches 54 lbs. It was a manilla envelope size package! @@richwillis8

Correct 100%
Don’t trust these apps at all and check every trip one by one before you start…
I agree they tried to finesse.. if we stick together they can’t but ppl will still go & get low ball & don’t care
Tile guy put both pallets on 1 pallet to cheat the system

I agree! Especially with Frayt. We get very limited info on the items to be shipped.
