He never had those accents in the original ARAH run, I have them all. In his V2 suit he is black (blue used as shading on the body suit) and dark grey accents. So no, it’s not comic accurate. It’s stupid. And I already know they say it’s the “comic version”. He also doesn’t have the correct number of grenades on his bandolier.
I'm not really sure why they would add wrist rotations since the only Joes that *had* wrist rotations were the B.A.T.s since their entire hands were on a peg that you could remove. Same with the whites of the eyes, ones from '82 to '94 never had painted sclera. That only started happening around '97.
@@LarkinsLair Well these are supposed to be *like* the originals is the thing, not modern O-Ring figures. That's the whole point of ReAction, to be like toys from the 70s and 80s. But I digress.
So I need to buy another 7 bats so I can have 20 or I just order another 20 bats so I will have 33 cobra bats. But I am thinking we will get python patrol bats so I might hold off cause I would buy 30 python bats
Cobra Commander and the Bat are the stand outs here. It will be interesting to see what will be in wave two since supposedly they aren't remaking anything that's been done before.
@@LarkinsLair Came here to say the same. It’s the main reason I haven’t bought any as I’m afraid they will never make characters I want. Also, they didn’t paint the silver rod on the shoulder where Hasbro is so they don’t even match those releases. I was super excited but it’s quickly turning into disappointment on some of the choices.
Never say never cause this man child knows they will make some in the future as well as vehicles. My visions show me plus I put it out there. So they said if they do really really well it is possible. So the more we buy the better figures we will get in the future and a tiger force snake eyes and tiger force ship wreck will be fantastic
This figures are looking good man. I need to get them plus at least 6 BATSs... I can make them blend in my shelves with the different Joe figures I have from vintage to 97, 98, 2000, etc...😃✌️💡
How many lines did we have to wait until we got ball joint necks. lol 1982 to 1984 then 1985 we started to get that articulation. So it might take 3 years for that or they just might stay the same. Can’t wait to take them a part to see if they are compatible with the vintage
Crimson guard will be coming for sure and they will release the viper officer pilot and viper pilot. The morec army builders the better and omg I have 77 cobra officers and soldiers so I will for sure buy another 50. Maybe 20 officers and 50 soldiers if they make them well
At $25 that’s 1250 for 50 soldiers so I am in for sure. And $25 for 20 officers that’s 500 I am including duty fees in my pricing. So that’s super awesome since a vintage officer and soldiers are $70 to $100 each. So that’s a done deal army build 20 of all the other ones at $500 no problem there.
I got my 4 in today. I agree these could of been better, but at least they have swivel-arm battle grip. I've read rumors these were going to have a 1982 straight-arm setup, which would of been a deal breaker for alot of people. I'm just thankful after many years we can now buy new in the card o-ring joe's in 2024, without coughing up insane collector prices.
The hooded cobra command head looks great on him. I did it to mine. Seen a few other people do that as well. Plus I took the cover girl head and put it on a Cobra Officers body. Works awesome and looks great
The blue is horrible and not accurate to any rendition of 1985 (V2) Snake Eyes I’m aware of. Definitely not accurate to the ARAH comics nor the figure. I’ll buy it to try and remove the blue, since it’s cheaper than a 1985 SE so I won’t have to worry about breaking it. Also he’s missing a grenade
I think at the very least ball joint head would be a good improvement, especially to update some of these earlier figures from the ARAH line. They fit in well and I really don't have any complaints other than the articulation stuff that you mentioned..not a deal breaker though. Some finer details to the body sculpts would be awesome too..can't wait to see what's in store for this line from Super7!
I don’t mind that they are not ball joint heads yet. So I can change some older vintage. The newer stuff super7 is making you can put on your vintage Joes but you can’t put the heads from the vintage onto the new. Strange how it works backwards. lol 😂 but still gives us a bit more options on making other figures. So that’s not to bad then.
@@JoePal-c3n It's not a total loss, I agree. I think most people expected ball joints because they are a vast improvement over swivel and also opens up customization a lot more. They will probably stick with swivel so they can reuse head sculpts from their earlier ReAction stuff. I am happy either way, it's an O-ring Renaissance right now, lol
These look cheap compared to Hasbro’s. Cobra Commander’s mask isn’t even chrome in fact it isn’t even silver, looks grey. Hasbro couldn’t even sell their retro O-ring figures for $12 so $20 for these is an easy pass. Super7 quality is worse than Hasbro’s.
The blue accents on Snake Eyes are because it’s the comic version of the character.
He never had those accents in the original ARAH run, I have them all. In his V2 suit he is black (blue used as shading on the body suit) and dark grey accents.

It would be nice for them to employ things in other modern O-ring figures since these are all new molds and not just reissues of the originals.
@@LarkinsLair Well these are supposed to be *like* the originals is the thing, not modern O-Ring figures. That's the whole point of ReAction, to be like toys from the 70s and 80s. But I digress.
I like how super 7 is doing the file cards it's better than hasbro's multilanguage file cards their like original file cards
The classic 3 inch figure from the 80’s was my favorite design.
Same for me. Thanks for watching.
That Snake Eyes is the comic inspired version from the 80’s. That’s the reason for the color scheme.
It’s not comic accurate to ARAH
I ordered 12 bats to start and doubles and well maybe 13 bats and 3 cover girls
@@JoePal-c3n wow!!
@@adolfodominguez6477 I want to order another 6 or 12 on top of that order but I have a feeling we will get these BATS in Python Colors as well, lol
Yup 20 figures. Dam duty fees and extra taxes made it around $24 or $25 a figure. lol $88 dollars more.

I didn’t know that about not remaking stuff. Thanks for the info 👍

The 82 to 84 and even some figures in the line up into the 2000s have side to side head movement so I am all in

After watching a couple videos I cancelled my order. They look like they took a bunch of shortcuts.
They look a little cheap to me... why can't these companies just re-make the old toys the way they used to be?
Please quality seems fine, but I understand it looks that way.
Because times have changed…also I’ve seen worse.
Hopefully they get better through out the waves

Cobra Commander's mask is silver. I just got one and looking at it in person, the silver paint comes across better than on camera.
